The Kids of the Future Will Hate Lib/Lab Equally

Is Australia the world’s most nannied, over governed, and over regulated country?

Censoring the internet is a dumb move. It exposed the uni party.

As if more proof was needed!

I hope it destroys the uni party.

@PeterDutton_MP has lost his way, he’s really no different to Albo.

The passing of world-first legislation banning children under the age of 16 from social media has earned  Australia headlines around the globe, but international experts have almost unanimously rubbished the effectiveness of the new laws.

t was the Libs who initially started the misinformation and disinformation bill including the digital ID. A proper political opposition party is needed

Does anyone else feel like this week was extra embarrassing for Australia?

I don’t even know where to start…

That Muslim chick losing it in parliament.

That guy from the ABC insulting Rogan (lol).

Our dictator trying to ram through 40,000 pages of legislation with no debate.

I feel like we need a reset. Deport everyone. Dissolve parliament. Redraft the Constitution. I think we can safely say whatever crazy experiment we’re running right now has failed.

Last night we saw the decline of our democracy.

The Senate passed 32 pieces of legislation without so much as even a debate on them. The Upper House, charged with being a house of review, has become a rubber stamp.

It has become the house of approval.

If Senators are unable to debate bills, then they should not agree to pass bills.

But the government, with some support from the supposedly conservative Liberal coalition, pushed reams of legislation through with barely any scrutiny. Instead of democracy, we have autocracy. And instead of good governance we have total abrogation of responsibility. spectator.com.au/2024/11/instea
