The Crime Spree of the Biden Regime Is Beyond Imagination

On his last morning in office, Joe Biden issued pardons that dwarf even Bill Clinton’sin terms of corruption, insolence, and outrageousness. They support our worst suspicions regarding his fellow liberal establishmentarians and cement Biden’s status as the most disgraceful mistake ever to debase the White House. Via Daily Signal:

Biden issued preemptive pardons to family members, as well as Dr. Anthony Fauci, retired Gen. Mark Milley, and members of the House committee that investigated the Jan. 6, 2021 protest.

The pardons beg the question as to what these friends of Biden did that they need to be pardoned for. Let’s start with Fauci. We all know he lied to Congress. But does anyone really think he would be held accountable for that? What if Covid were developed in the course of bioweapons research by America’s most formidable enemy, communist China — with US taxpayer funding provided by Fauci? Now that might require some pardoning. There is no question as to what Mark Milley would need pardoning for:

Milley, the former chairman of the Joint Chiefs, admitted that he communicated with the Chinese government in early 2021 without consulting then-President Trump to calm concerns from Chinese officials about any military action against the country, promising advanced warning.

The legal term for this is treason. Until recently, it was punished by firing squad. As for the Stalinesque show trial theatrical troupe known as the January 6 Committee,

The House Administration Subcommittee on Oversight concluded that the House select committee investigating Jan. 6 had deleted records. Committee members have denied the deletions. The House subcommittee investigating the investigators also determined that [Liz] Cheney might have tampered with a witness. Cheney has denied this.

Biden’s pardons undermine any credibility these denials might have had. As with the previous blanket pardon of his conspicuously criminal bagman Hunter, by pardoning relatives likely to have participated in his own criminal activity, Biden effectively pardoned himself:

[A]bout half an hour before his successor was to be sworn, the White House announced a pardon of Biden family members, that includes James Biden–who congressional investigators said misled Congress, which was investigating alleged Biden family influence peddling.

Biden claims his pardons do not entail an acknowledgment of guilt on the part of the scoundrels who accept them. However:

This contrasts with Biden’s own Justice Department that made a court filing last month in the case of a Jan. 6 defendant that said, “The defendant would first have to accept the pardon, which necessitates a confession of guilt.” It went onto to cite case law that a pardon “carries an imputation of guilt; acceptance a confession of it.”

We have hit absolute bottom with Joe Biden. There is no way to go lower. Now America can rebound. A good first step would be to challenge these pardons.
