Fear of being labeled “racist” stopped staff from addressing abusers, who were mostly Pakistani men. Three inquiries were ignored. Officials failed to act, leaving victims unprotected. Keir Starmer and Rishi Sunak both tried to shut social media down.
Now we can see why. Elon Musk’s publicizing of Rotherham makes the scandal impossible to avoid.
It is being shouted from every corner of the digital sphere. And unlike British broadcasters and their hosts – who Ofcom had sacked, fined, dragged through the courts, or shut down for covering the topic – Twitter is free to keep squawking. Political correctness, social justice, and ‘cultural sensitivity’ led directly the sexual assault of British women and girls.
It’s happening in every Western nation. And the ‘metoo’ left-wing ideology has acted as its accomplice to cover these crimes up for decades.
This problem is much deeper than a corrupt police force, complicit press, and self-hating public.
