Note there are no calls in Gaza for peace with Israel. No calls to release the hostages. No calls to end genocidal jihadist fantasies. These protests are happening for one reason only: Hamas is conspicuously losing the war. If Hamas started dragging hostages into Gaza tomorrow, the same people would be in streets cheering. People need to stop projecting western values and hopes onto Islamist societies.

‘Chaos and panic’ as Israel threatens to bomb Beirut; Gaza attack ongoing
- srael has issued a forced evacuation order for the Hadath neighbourhood in Beirut’s southern suburbs, threatening to bomb a building there and creating chaos as residents rush to leave.
- Women and children are among 14 people killed in predawn Israeli attacks on Gaza City and Khan Younis as the death toll continues to rise after Israel broke the Gaza ceasefire 10 days ago.
US hits dozens of Houthi targets in Yemen
US air attacks pounded more than 40 locations across Houthi-controlled parts of Yemen, including in the capital Sanaa.
Multiple residential homes and shops were damaged in the US attacks before dawn on Friday in the provinces of Saada, Marib, al-Jawf and Hodeidah, reported the Houthi-linked Al Masirah TV.
Other targets included the Sanaa International Airport, which is used for both civilian and military traffic.
