Hamas whines: IDF bombs innocent civilians & children

CNN reports what Hamas tells them:

Israel’s strikes have killed over 200 peopleand wounded hundreds more, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry. (Hamas)

• Gaza’s fragile ceasefire shattered early Tuesday as Israel carried out what it described as “extensive strikes” on Hamas targets, with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowing to use “increasing military strength” against the militant group, and Defense Minister Israel Katz declaring: “Tonight we returned to fighting in Gaza.”

• Hamas accused Israel of overturning the nearly two-month-long ceasefire agreementand “putting the captives in Gaza at risk of an unknown fate.” Israel accused Hamas of “repeatedly” refusing to release hostages and rejecting mediation offers.

As ususal, when the smoke lifts, it turns out that only hardcore Mamasniks got hit.

As fighting resumes in Gaza, violence is also flaring across the Middle East

Israel’s resumption of strikes on Gaza comes as renewed violence flares up in the Middle East.

Houthis in Yemen: Dozens of people were reported killed after US President Donald Trump ordered “decisive” military action against Houthi rebels in Yemen this week, opening a new salvo against the Iran-backed group.

The Houthis started launching drone and missile strikes on vessels in the Red Sea in late 2023 in what they say is revenge for Israel’s war in Gaza. The group has targeted more than 100 ships and vessels, including with drones, missiles and small ships, significantly impacting global trade.

“We want all the hostages released. We believe they should all be released. These trades being made, they’re ridiculous trades. Come on. Four hundred people for three? These are nuts. I mean, we’re sitting around as the world is sort of accepting that it’s normal and okay for you to go into a place, kidnap babies, kidnap teenagers, kidnap people that have nothing to do with any wars, that are not soldiers, that are not anything, and taking them and putting them in tunnels for almost a year and a half. And we’re acting like this is a normal exchange, this is a normal thing that happens? This is an outrage. So, they should all be released.”
