In the Netherlands—and increasingly across Europe—“hate speech” laws are no longer about protecting dignity. They’re about controlling dissent.
🔻 Right-leaning politicians are prosecuted for memes, metaphors, or debates on immigration. Meanwhile, leftist provocateurs walk free, even when hinting at political violence. This isn’t justice—it’s ideological lawfare. When judges act not as neutral arbiters but as priests of a “morally correct” worldview, the rule of law is hollowed out.
🧠 Free speech is not meant to protect the popular—it’s the shield of the dissenter. And yet, criticism of dominant narratives on immigration, gender ideology, or climate policy is being criminalized.
🚨 This selective enforcement isn’t about civility. It’s about obedience. The real threat? A society where “offense” is determined by ideology, not principle. Where law becomes a tool to silence opposition. We must resist the creeping normalization of thought control.
