That really is straight out of an alternate universe. Imagine being so far gone that you’re out in the street literally banging pots and pans because the President wants to make your city safer. They’re not protesting tyranny, they’re protesting safety itself. You couldn’t write a better parody if you tried. These are the same people who lock their doors at night, call 911 when there’s trouble, and expect police to show up… yet they’re out there clanging cookware like a deranged kitchen band to fight against crime reduction.
