The majority of Gazan deaths since the October 7 massacre have been combat-aged men, according to Hamas’ own data.
Hamas’ Ministry of Health recently published a list of the more than 60,000 alleged deaths in Gaza in this war, up to the end of July.
– 32,113 deaths were men of combat age (15–65)
– 12,875 were children (under 15)
– 12,067 were women (15–65)
– 3,094 were elderly (65+)
An important note on the combat age: while a 15-year-old is indeed a child, the tragic reality is that in Gaza, meeting the legal definition of a child does not prevent Hamas from recruiting you to its terror ranks.
And so, when IDF soldiers in Khan Younis are confronted with a Hamas terrorist aiming an RPG at them, they don’t have the luxury of asking how old the terrorist is before they open fire.
The bottom line: while combat-aged men in Gaza account for around 29% of the strip’s total population, according to Palestinian data, they’ve made up 53% of Gazan fatalities in this war.
So no indiscriminate killing, no starvation, and no genocide. What’s their next lie?
Also, let’s not kid ourselves that all those women and children were innocent. If you believe they were, I have a bridge to sell you.
And finally, you can take this numbers with a grain of salt, so it is safe to assume that many more Hamas terrorists were killed than what they are reporting.
