Hamtramck: America’s First All-Muslim Government In 2022, Hamtramck became the first U.S. city to have an all-Muslim city council. Mayor Amer Ghalib has accused Arab leaders of being “secret Jews,” endorsed rhetoric calling Jews “monkeys,” and oversaw renaming the city’s main street “Palestine Avenue” to celebrate October 7.

In August 2025, council members Mutasen Sadman and Muhammad Hassan were charged with election fraud—yet media silence continues. Dearborn Heights: Another Domino Next door, Mayor Bilal “Bill” Bazzi (elected 2021) presides over a city rapidly becoming an Islamist enclave—mosques, halal businesses, hijab murals, and neighborhoods advertised as places where “everybody is Muslim.”
