Mamdani says socialism isn’t a threat. It just means “seizing the means of production.”

Mamdani mocks those of us who fear socialism. He says socialism just means that the state “provides whatever is necessary for its people to live a dignified life.”

Sounds nice.

But socialism doesn’t bring a dignified life. It never has. It’s wrecked lives wherever it’s been tried.

It’s safe to say that libertarian journalist John Stossel is not a fan of socialism. He definitely favors free markets, which is great.

In the video below, Stossel takes a good look at Zohran Mamdani, the Democratic Socialist (communist) who is likely to become the next mayor of New York City, and takes apart the underpinnings of socialism in the process.

Stossel originally released this video in August, but now that the election is right around the corner, he re-released it on his Twitter/X account.
