White Australia Will Be Replaced, Sez Trade Minister Don Farrell

Lets go be oppressed!

The comments come as One Nation, led by Pauline Hanson, emerged as the preferred party for voters on immigration policy.

Trade Minister Don Farrell has warned the federal opposition against pursuing major cuts to immigration, despite the majority of Australians wanting less immigrants.

Trade Minister Don Farrell has cautioned the federal opposition against pursuing major cuts to Australia’s immigration intake.

It comes after the latest Newspoll, conducted for The Australian, found 25 per cent of voters wanted “fewer” immigrants and 39 per cent wanted “a lot fewer”.

Meanwhile, the Coalition has weighed up cutting net migration levels by about 100,000 immigrants per year.

However, Mr Farrell told Sky News Sunday Agenda he would be “disappointed” if the Coalition moved to substantially reduce migration.

“Immigration is important for the future of this country. It should be a bipartisan issue,” Mr Farrell said.

Must watch video with Tucker Carlson & Piers Morgan:

“I’d much prefer it to be the government and the opposition sitting down, working out what is the best way to go forward in the immigration space.”
