PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP:*
“Iran’s in big trouble. It looks to me that the people are taking over certain cities that nobody thought were really possible… We’re watching… I made the statement very strongly that if they start killing people like they have in the past, we will get involved.”
Trump Offers U.S. Support to Iran’s Weeklong Protests Amid Crackdowns
Nationwide demonstrations in Iran, now in their second week since late December, have spread to all 31 provinces and hundreds of cities, driven by hyperinflation, food shortages, and calls to oust Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. President Trump posted on Truth Social that the U.S. stands ready to help, a message echoed by allies like Senator Lindsey Graham who urged protesters onward with a ‘Make Iran Great Again’ nod.
Amid internet blackouts and power cuts, Elon Musk’s Starlink has enabled videos to reach the world, while human rights groups report at least 65 deaths and over 2,300 arrests from security forces’ use of live ammunition and tear gas.
President Trump is on fire. His statements and communications show the Iranian people protesting against the Islamic regime that the world is behind them!
The protests in Iran are huge. The whole country appears to be standing up to the violent and murderous Islamic regime. REPORTS OF MANY PROTESTERS SHOT DEAD IN IRAN:* Opposition journalist Ilia Hashemi reports that, based on conversations with eyewitnesses and a hospital surgeon in Tehran, the death toll from last night’s unrest in Tehran, Karaj, and Shahriar appears to be extremely high. The surgeon said he remained in the operating room throughout the night and stated that the number of protesters killed “exceeds the toll of the 12-day war.” Iranian authorities previously claimed 1,060 fatalities during that conflict. Disturbing reports of multiple mass-casualty incidents continue to emerge.
