In the wake of decisive U.S.-Israeli strikes that eliminated Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, a furious pro-Iran mob in Karachi, Pakistan thought they could overrun sovereign American territory at the U.S. Consulate General.
Big mistake.
Rioters breached multiple security layers, scaled gates, smashed windows, set fires, and tried to storm the compound while chanting “Death to America” and “Death to Israel.” U.S. Marines on duty didn’t hesitate—they opened fire in defense of the facility and American personnel.
Result: At least 22 attackers killed, dozens more wounded. The mob learned the hard way that assaulting a U.S. diplomatic post isn’t a “protest”—it’s an act of war.
