The International Maritime Organization (IMO) says up to 20,000 seafarers have been stranded on some 2,000 vessels in the Strait of Hormuz since the US-Israel war on Iran began.

The vessels include oil and gas tankers, bulk carriers, cargo ships and tourist cruise liners.

Former Muslim American Society top dog: ‘We have a divine civilizational project of guiding humanity’

Omeish is right. The Qur’an says: “You are the best of people that has been raised up for mankind. You command what is right and forbid what is wrong…” (3:110)

This encapsulates the divine mission, or “civilizational project of guiding humanity,” to which he refers. The Muslims, the best of people, must assert their authority to “command what is right and forbid what is wrong” over unbelievers, and in doing so, create the rightly guided society, organized according to the will of Allah. And so it must be understood that he is articulating a political imperative, for only once Muslims gain political power will they be able to “command what is right and forbid what is wrong.”

And so today, Sharia is advancing all over the U.S. under the claim that it is solely religious, while even Muslim leaders are saying more or less openly that they have a political agenda that is inherently supremacist. Few in power today, if any, realize these implications of what Esam Omeish is saying.
