Pope Leo XIV urges Europe to act on migration crisis

Europe does not have a moral obligation to house the entire world and even less invading African savages.

Symbolic July 4 visit: The U.S.-born Pope spent Independence Day in Lampedusa, honouring migrants who died at sea and highlighting the island’s role in Europe’s migration crisis.

Call for action: He urged Europe to create long-term migration strategies that balance immediate relief with development in origin countries to prevent forced migration.

Message to Americans: In a letter, he reminded the U.S. that welcoming immigrants is part of its history and a recognition of every person’s dignity.

I cannot remain silent on this. The Pope’s decision to do this now, right as Europe is witnessing yet another wave of murders of its citizens by migrants (think of Louis, Christian, Henry, and the countless others) cannot be dismissed as a mere public relations blunder.
It is a painful slap in the face of the Christian native peoples of Europe and all those who lost their children and loved ones as a result of mass migration.
Where is the Church’s charity and compassion toward them? Why do we not hear a word from the Pope about the 250,000 white British girls who were raped? Why do we not hear a word about the attacks on Europe’s Churches and Christian communities?
Why do we not hear a word about the millions of Europeans who are unsafe and estranged, fast becoming a minority in their own homelands?
The Church’s silence regarding the threats European Christians face is already deafening. Combining it with telling Europeans that they must do more to “integrate and protect migrants”, is adding insult to injury.
As a new Catholic, I have generally tried to refrain from critiquing the Pope, for we do not lightly challenge the father. This, however, is not a matter of dogma or infallible teaching.
The Pope has chosen to make a political and pastoral statement on migration, and on such prudential questions the faithful may legitimately form and express their own judgment.
And my opinion on this is clear: Europe does not have a moral obligation to house the entire world, especially not when it comes at the cost of civilisational destruction. 

Society of St. Pius X’s Priest Stands Defiant Against Leo XIV’s Excommunication: ‘A Future Pope Will Welcome Us Back’

Popes come and go.

We have reported on how leftist Pope Leo XIV – through his Holy Office head, the highly controversial Cardinal Víctor Manuel Fernández – a Pope Francis holdover – has excommunicated the members of the conservative Society of St. Pius X.

They were declared schismatic after four bishops were ordained without Pope Leo’s approval.

But if anyone thought that they’d bow their heads and submit, think again. Reuters calls them unrepentant, we call them defiant.

Reuters reported:

“A priest from a Catholic splinter sect that was excommunicated ‌earlier this week told worshippers on Sunday that the breakaway group would be welcomed back to the Church under a different pope.

[…] ‘There will one day be another pope ​who opens the door and welcomes us back. Just like Pope Benedict’, Georg Kopf ​said at a mass held in the north-eastern Swiss town of Wil.”

  1. What is this ignorance? There were Popes in the late 14th, 15th and 16th amd 18th centuries that saw islam as the enemy. The muslims briefly conquered the Vatican briefly; did these Popes forget about that? The fall of Constantinople was crowned with broad slaughter of Christians, ‘the streets ran red with the blood’. Is it all a ‘never mind’ history to this Pope? I just don’t get it.
