EU threatens Elon Musk with Twitter ban unless the platform sticks to strict rules and police content, the Financial Times reports.
Elon Musk has called for the European Union to be abolished, while accusing the bloc of being controlled by unelected bureaucrats rather than its people.
Musk said the EU was “not DEMOcracy” but “BUREAUcracy” and separately argued that sovereignty should be returned to individual European countries so their governments can better represent their citizens.
His remarks followed the EU’s €120 million fine against X in December 2025.
Swedish MEP Charlie Weimers celebrated the EU Parliament committee’s decision to allow deportations of illegal migrants to third countries, stating:
“The era of deportations has begun!”
Sounds promising. However- why do they need the approval from EU?
Sovereign countries wouldn’t have that problem.
