Pro-Palestine activists have disrupted the London Pride parade today when they covered a float with red paint on the day after Palestine Action were banned in the UK.
Now, I have very long argued that Gays for Palestine is equivalent to chickens for KFC. Events at today’s seem to prove I was right.
Youth Demand, a group described as young people “stepping up to resist this nightmare”, were seen to cover the front of one London Pride truck with paint before sitting down in protest on the parade route.
At least six protesters were seen blocking the parade group, before a video uploaded to social media shows two being taken away in handcuffs by police shortly after the incident.
Maybe it’s time the LGBTQ community reappraised who are their allies.
