Marine Le Pen has just been handed a two year prison sentence. This is INSANE.

That’s what Democrats attempted to do to Trump.

French court sentences Marine Le Pen to 4 years in prison, 2 of which will be served in house arrest with an ankle monitor. She is also banned from running in the presidential election in 2027, which she is currently the favourite to win acclaimed to opinion polls.

This is how fascists treat those who oppose their rule.

France is in deep trouble.

This isn’t justice; it’s political assassination. A two-year prison sentence for what? A minor EU funding technicality that many politicians escape. The French establishment and Brussels couldn’t defeat Le Pen electorally, so they’re using courts to eliminate her. This mirrors the lawfare against Trump, proving that if you’re a nationalist threat, they’ll silence you by any means. If the French accept this, they accept their democracy’s demise.

Le Pen’s prison sentence? It’s not just insane; it’s the system’s desperate attempt to bury her. They’re terrified of her power, so they’re using the courts as their weapon of choice. France’s elite are scrambling to silence the voice of millions, terrified that her message of change might actually resonate. This isn’t justice; it’s political assassination, plain and simple.

Not only was she sentenced to a five-year ban from holding public office, but the absolute disgrace is that SHE CANNOT APPEAL the verdict (called “exécution provisoire,” i.e, provisional enforcement) !!! The ban has IMMEDIATE effect! Whatever one thinks of Marine Le Pen’s ideas, the immediate nature of this verdict defiles French democracy.

The president has pledged to deport 11 million people – doubling the number removed under President Joe Biden and even surpassing President Barack Obama’s two terms, during which 5.3 million people were deported.

They have to be private.”

He continued, “So, I think we’re past — my view, we’re past the age, really, where the government — first of all, they don’t — why do we need to subsidize? Why can’t we have outlets like this? And we’re so polarized, these outlets became popular at a time when Republicans and Democrats didn’t hate each other and weren’t at each other’s throats and didn’t think each other was an existential threat. In that world, you can’t have places like this, I think, anymore. They have to be private.”
