Elon Musk made heads explode by asking federal employees what they did last week. AP sputters that this has caused “confusion and anger,” not to mention “turmoil.” HHS shrieks that lists of activities/accomplishments will be read by “malign foreign actors.” Why all the hysteria over asking Swamp bureaucrats what they have been doing with the time we pay them for? A chatroom frequented by members of federal intelligence agencies offers a clue:

According to our sources, the sex chats were legitimized as part of the NSA’s commitment to “diversity, equity and inclusion.” Activists within the agency used LGBTQ+ “employee resource groups” to turn their kinks and pathologies into official work duties. According to the current NSA employee, these groups “spent all day” recruiting activists and holding meetings with titles such as “Privilege,” “Ally Awareness,” “Pride,” and “Transgender Community Inclusion.” And they did so with the full support of NSA leadership, which declared that DEI was “not only mission critical, but mission imperative.”

In this case, “diversity” was not a byword for racialism, but rather a euphemism for sex talk.

Just as anything liberals don’t like is “bigoted,” anything they do like is “diverse.”

Not all government employees are on board:

The active source at the NSA claimed to have witnessed hundreds of sexually provocative discussions, which, he added, occurred mostly on taxpayer time. The former NSA source who was familiar with the chats recalled being “disgusted” by a particularly shocking thread discussing weekend “gangbangs.”

In intelligence agencies as elsewhere, normal people have been increasingly marginalized — by the militantly “marginalized.”

Warns Rufo,

NSA chat logs suggest the presence of at least hundreds of gender activists within the intelligence services who cannot distinguish between male and female, and who believe that discussing castration, polyamory, and “gangbangs” is an appropriate use of public resources. For psychological and ideological reasons, these kinds of people will not be easily sidelined.

An NSA spokesman has confirmed the sex chats are for real.

Now, a total of 3,500 Afghans will arrive a week after the election takes place. The news was announced by the Foreign Ministry led by Green Party politician Annalena Baerbock, who said this was due to logistical reasons. However, the NGOs have accused the government of caving to public pressure due to the terror attacks and pressure from the right. The migrants have already been transported to Pakistan, where they are safe. Accommodation and other support for the migrants is expected to reach into the millions of euros in costs. The German government had originally promised Pakistan that the Afghans would only be in the country until March 31, as Pakistan wants to get rid of them and has already embarked on a nationwide deportation crackdown on Afghans. Some of the Afghans who were supposed to leave for Germany have already been sent back to Afghanistan. However, the German government has faced logistical issues due to the sheer number of flights required and is unable to meet its own deadline….

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has just shut down tens of millions of dollars worth of taxpayer-funded spending on former President Joe Biden’s “climate” agenda. President Donald Trump’s EPA, in coordination with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), has canceled more than $67 million in “climate” grants..

The funds had been designated for what Trump’s EPA described as “wasteful DEI and Environmental Justice grants.”

EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin made the announcement on Saturday.

Hamas Boss Has Regrets

Like all statements of Hamas operatives, this should not necessarily be taken as truth. Had Hamas been victorious over Israel, Mousa Abu Marzouk would not be expressing any regrets, despite the suffering of those living in Gaza. Their suffering is viewed as heroic for the so-called “resistance,” and “martyrdom” is considered to be the ultimate achievement. Hamas also uses Gazans as human shields.

What Abu Marzouk likely means is that if Hamas had known what the devastating outcome of its actions on October 7 would be, the group would have strategized differently; but he is trying to give the West the impression that he regrets the destruction in Gaza, so as to cast the blame once again upon Israel, as well as, possibly, to win back confidence of the people of Gaza.

A senior Hamas official told the New York Times last week that he would not have supported the October 7, 2023, terror attack against Israel if he had known the outcome — the destruction of Hamas and the devastation of Gaza.

The Times reported Monday:

Mousa Abu Marzouk, the Qatar-based head of Hamas’s foreign relations office, said in an interview with The New York Times that he would not have supported the attack if he had known of the havoc it would wreak on Gaza. Knowing of the consequences, he said, would have made it “impossible” for him to back the assault.

Much of the progressive establishment believes in democracy only so far as they can exploit the idea as a moral shield for their authoritarian activities…

In a recent speech at the Security Conference in Munich, Vice President JD Vance warned European leaders that the real threat to the sanctity of the west is not foreign enemies but the enemies within.  EU governments have been destroying the very values of “democracy” that they claim to defend and cherish, all in a bid to keep power in the hands of an extremist leftist oligarchy.

European officials attending the Munich conference did so with the expectation that the focus of the event would be on the Ukraine war.  Specifically, the event was supposed to be another rally party in the name of continuing the war in the name of “protecting democracy”.  Vance flipped the conference upside-down, pointing out that Europe doesn’t actually believe in democracy, not even in the way they define it.

I must apologise for another attack on the Albanese government, now that it’s found the biggest gold mine in the world. So much criticism may seem unfair, but my concern about this government’s incompetence and wrongheadedness has turned to panic. Has any Australian government been so wrong on so much, making us poorer, weaker and more divided?

But to this gold mine. What else can explain Prime Minister Anthony Albanese on Sunday announcing he’d spend even more – now $8.5bn to make even more doctor visits free?
.
“Free”? Your taxes paid for these “free” services, which you might have thought not worth using if you had to chip in a few bucks yourself.
.
Still, very nice, except for this: this government has already admitted the mining boom is running down, and it will now run deficits for a decade.
.
So maybe I was wrong. This government I blasted for blocking even a gold mine because of supposed secret Aboriginal business, has opened a massive one of its own to fund a staggering spending spree over these past four months.
.
Take Albanese’s promise last November to cancel $3bn of student debt, making fools of the dutiful who’d already paid off their own and must now help pay the debts of others.
.
Last month, Albanese promised $7.2bn to upgrade Queensland’s Bruce Highway and another $1.7bn to cut hospital waiting lists.
.
He also promised another $3bn to upgrade the National Broadband Network which we were once told would pay for itself.
.
Albanese even flung $2.2bn at Australia’s biggest white elephant – Victoria’s $250bn Suburban Rail Loop to link suburbs no one visits to other suburbs no one visits.
And last week he backed a $2.4bn package to save Whyalla’s steel mill, plus another $2bn to help it and other mills go green. But this package wasn’t spending, he insisted, rather an “investment”, so won’t go on the Budget. What a dodge.

Remember: every billion means $40 from every Australian man, woman and child.

Now this Medicare bonanza, so massive that the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners admitted it was “the likes we’ve never seen”.
Does this seem prudent?

Or is it desperate? Is Albanese spending everything – including money he doesn’t have – just to avoid the humiliation of becoming our first first-term prime minister to lose an election in 93 years?
