Lula’s Scam Election in Brazil Has Consequences:

BRAZIL IS ON THE BRINK I’m reporting to you from Brazil, where a dramatic series of events are underway. At 5:52 pm Eastern Time, today, April 6, 2024, X corporation, formerly known as Twitter, announced that a Brazilian court had forced it to “block certain popular accounts in Brazil.” Then, less than one hour later, the owner of X, @ElonMusk announced that X would defy the court’s order, and lift all restrictions. “As a result,” said Musk, “we will probably lose all revenue in Brazil and have to shut down our office there. But principles matter more than profit.” At any moment, Brazil’s Supreme Court could shut off all access to X/Twitter for the people of Brazil.

It is not an exaggeration to say that Brazil is on the brink of dictatorship at the hands of a totalitarian Supreme Court Justice named Alexandre de Moraes. President Lula da Silva is participating in the push toward totalitarianism. Since taking office, Lula has massively increased government funding of the mainstream news media, most of which are encouraging increased censorship. What Lula and de Moraes are doing is an outrageous violation of Brazil’s constitution and the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights.

At this moment, Brazil is not yet a dictatorship. It still has elections and the Brazilian people have other means at their disposal to confront authoritarianism. But the Federal Supreme Court and the Superior Electoral Court are directly interfere in those elections through censorship. Three days ago I published the Twitter Files for Brazil. They show that Moraes has violated the Brazilian Constitution. Moraes illegally demanded that Twitter reveal private information about Twitter users who used hashtags he considered inappropriate.

He demanded access to Twitter’s internal data, violating the platform’s policy. He censored, on his own initiative and without any respect for due process, posts on Twitter by parliamentarians from the Brazilian Congress. And Moraes tried to turn Twitter’s content moderation policies into a weapon against supporters of then-president Jair Bolsonaro. I say this as an independent and non-partisan journalist. I’m not a fan of either Bolsonaro or Trump.

My political views are very moderate. But I know censorship when I see it. The Twitter Files also revealed that Google, Facebook, Uber, WhatsApp and Instagram betrayed the people of Brazil. If such evidence is proven, the executives of these companies behaved like cowards: they provided the Brazilian government with personal registration data and telephone numbers without a court order and, therefore, violating the law.

When Twitter refused to provide Brazilian authorities with private user information, including direct messages, the government attempted to sue Twitter’s top Brazilian lawyer. When I lived in Brazil in 1992, I was very left-wing. At the time, Lula and the PT’s slogans were “Without fear of being happy”. In recent days, I have spoken to dozens of Brazilians, including professors, journalists and respected lawyers.

Trigger warning!! This is a very unpopular opinion that will surely anger a lot of people. One of the things that has bothered me most about this war is the fact that it’s taking us this long to wipe out Hamas. After all the wars we won against multiple armies, some of which took just days, how is it that we’re this many months in to a war against a terrorist organization and not even an army? Is the IDF losing its edge? Did it already? Is the old strong courageous IDF a thing of the past? I don’t know about you, but this issue has been weighing on me for months. Well, let’s talk about it. If you’re too lazy to keep reading, I’ll give you the punchline. No. The IDF isn’t weaker. The IDF is infinitely stronger now than ever before. So then, how do I explain the fact that we’ve been at this war for six months and there is no end in sight? The answer is simple. The IDF hasn’t changed, the nature of war has changed. Mark my words. Not only will Israel win this war, but Israel is establishing itself as we speak as the global authority on urban warfare. All countries will be turning to Israel in the future to learn how to fight a war in the 21st century. So why is it taking so long? Well, for a lot of reasons. Let’s start with the enemy. Wars have rules. Rules of engagement. Certain things can’t be done in war. There are war crimes. When two sides of a war are playing by the same rules, there can be a clear winner and a clear loser. Victory is clearly defined. But not in this war. Our enemy in this war has no restrictions or guidelines. There is nothing they can’t, won’t, and haven’t done. I don’t need to tell you this. You’ve read about it.

Attacking from within nurseries? ☑️ –

Hiding weapons and ammunition in kids’ rooms? ☑️

That’s them. On our side? –

Ignoring human shields and attacking anyway? ❌ –

Flattening the hospital that’s hosting the terror base? ❌ –

Bombing nurseries from which our enemies attack? ❌ –

Destroying kids rooms because they are storing weapons and ammunition? ❌

So you see, we’re playing chess and they’re playing basketball. They have their own rules and we won’t play by their rules. They sure as heck won’t play by ours. But that’s only the beginning. What did every war ever have in common that this war does not? Um, they were all conducted above ground. You know, like a battlefield… Not this one. There has never been a war that is primarily fought under ground. I don’t know if any of us understand the complexity here. A friend fighting in Gaza told me that he cannot walk ten steps without stepping on an opening to a terror tunnel. Hamas is still holding 129 Israeli hostages. Everybody in Gaza fears Hamas terrorists who steal all incoming food aid & still shoot rockets into Israel on a daily basis. If Israel agrees to a ceasefire, Hamas will declare victory. If Israel doesn’t eliminate Hamas, they will simply regroup and attack Israel again.

In a statement issued Wednesday, Coalition Council of Islamic Revolution Forces (also known by its Persian acronym SHANA) hailed Mohammad Reza Zahedi’s “strategic role in forming and strengthening the resistance front as well as in planning and executing the Al-Aqsa Storm.”

Zahedi, along with his deputy and five other IRGC forces, were killed Monday in an Israeli airstrike against Iran’s consulate building in the Syrian capital Damascus.

“Al Aqsa Storm” is the Hamas and terrorist term for the Oct 7 attacks.

Hamas still holds more than 120 hostages. Hamas is still shooting rockets into Israel. Hamas steals aid & terrorises Gaza’s population. A ceasefire would allow Hamas to regroup only to fight another day. Ceasefire means victory for Hamas. The UN is the enemy of Israel. For UNRWA Hamas & the PLO are the biggest cash cows. They scream hysterically about Israel’s cruelty, but that is not the issue. The issue is the gravy train. They insist it keeps rolling no matter what.

For Djaïz, the approach taken by France and Europe as a whole during Macron’s tenure as one of its leading figures has alienated the public with the burdens of the green agenda being disproportionately placed on the working classes through stifling regulations and regressive taxation schemes.
