Nationals Senator Matt Canavan has ridiculed claims from Climate 200 candidates who are calling for a 60 per cent reduction in emissions by 2030 – saying it will put Australia in an “impossible position”.
As if there aren’t enough reasons not to vote Labor/Greens – surely the worst is the possibility of KRudd becoming Australia’s next Ambassador to the US.

Labor’s policy is to not approve new coal mines.
Labor and their Greens cohorts plan to reduce carbon emissions by 43 per cent in the next 8 years. You can’t do that by approving new coal mines.
Labor and the Greens will impose such crippling, onerous ‘carbon taxes’ on new coal mines, it is impossible for a new coal mine to ‘stack up’ commercially. Their environmental standards will be so impossible to implement, new coal mines will not ‘stack up’ environmentally.
Albanocchio is as deceptive a politician as you’ll ever find.
To add insult to injury, today when asked, “What is your view on transgender participation in women’s sport?”, he tried to avoid the answer by replying, “That’s covered by the Sex Discrimination Act.”
The reporter persisted, “But what’s your personal view?”
Albanocchio: “That girls should be able to play sport against girls and boys should be able to play sport against boys.”.

Note he doesn’t say boys or men should not be able to play against girls?
He carefully picks his words to say girls should play against girls and boys should play against boys.
Nobody has disputed that.
What is contended is boys/men playing against girls.

Who’s Destroying Western Civilization?
Not many people realize that showing respect and deference to Muslim practices and sensitivities outside of Muslim countries is a form of submission to Islam, regardless of the Islamic holiday or the day of the year. This is especially true of those who know little about Islam and have not grasped the implications of granting such respect. They are more concerned with not wanting to hurt Muslim “feelings” than they are with the content of those feelings.
According to the cultural relativism most Westerners are indoctrinated with today, Muslim “feelings” are sacrosanct and not to be troubled or offended. “Feelings,” they are taught, are a tool of cognition, in themselves and in Muslims, so to offend Muslim feelings is to question a Muslim’s world view, and a Muslim’s world view – in which Allah owns everything and everyone and Mohammad was his prophet – is just as good as anyone else’s. Showing disrespect for a Muslim’s feelings implies that one’s own feelings are somehow superior to his. So a Muslim’s feelings must be respected.

Municipalities wrote letters to the police: Stop Paludan
After the violent riots, two municipalities have appealed to the police not to give Rasmus Paludan new permits for Koran burning.
During the Easter weekend, the Danish politician Rasmus Paludan had received a police permit to carry out Koran burning in several cities: Linköping, Jönköping, Norrköping , Malmö, Örebro and Stockholm.
In several cities, this led to violent riots in which 16 policemen were injured.
Olle Vikmång (S), chairman of the municipal board in Norrköping, condemned both Paludan’s demonstration and the violent riots in the Navestad district on Good Friday.
– I feel disgust for the messages that Paludan conveys. But it gives no right to resort to violence against the police and rescue services and to burn cars, injure, threaten and scare people, he says.

Twin bomb blasts targeted a boys’ secondary school in Kabul, Afghanistan, on Tuesday, killing at least six people and wounding roughly 24 others, the Kabul-based Tolo News reported.
Two bombings caused by improvised explosive devices occurred in quick succession outside the Abdul Rahim Shahid boys’ high school on the morning of April 19, Kabul police spokesman Khalid Zadran told Agence France-Presse (AFP) on Tuesday. The first explosion detonated as students were leaving morning classes and the second went off a short time later, as emergency medical crews were attempting to respond to the first bombing.
