The United Nations by definition sees us all as One Nation – but with hundreds of ethnic and philosophical differences – it obviously can’t work – and doesn’t.

Since we have made our society work – we get punished by making our national pride something to be ashamed about.

Yes, we do need change!

Atlanta’s biggest mosque opens

Dignitaries tour Al-Farooq Masjid

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Al-Farooq Masjid, Atlanta’s largest mosque, opened its doors on 14th Street N.W. on Sunday, proudly showing off to invited guests the $10 million edifice with it 65-foot-high dome over the main prayer hall.

“It’s with a sense of humbleness and gratitude toward God Almighty that he has allowed us to see the completion of this mosque,” said Dr. Khalid Siddiq, a Cobb County resident and long-time leader in Atlanta’s Muslim community. “The community has been trying to build this mosque for the last 10 years.”

The guests were suitably impressed.

The Sham of Women's Rights Under the Shari'a

By D. L. Perry

The United Kingdom is on taking a first step toward a parallel legal system for Muslims, and garnering applause for it.

Both the Guardian and the Telegraph have recently lauded a new Muslim marriage contract drawn up by a group of British Muslim organizations as a breakthrough in Muslim women’s rights in the UK. Urmee Khan of the Telegraph announced with unabashed aplomb: “Hailed as the biggest change in Sharia law in Britain for 100 years, a married Muslim couple will now have equal rights.” And the Guardian’s Samia Rahman claimed that “A new Islamic marriage contract sets aside cultural practices, giving women the rights they are due under sharia law”.

CBS/AP Cooks the News: Escalating Violence In South Stems From "Christian-Muslim Tensions"

*  Typical  PC- crap from CBS: by no stretch of the imagination are there ‘Christian-Muslim’ tensions, this is a jihad against the Christians of Mindanao by heavily armed Mujaheddin, jihadists who are financed, trained and armed from Arabia and indoctrinated with the Islamist, supremacist ideology. But don’t wait for CBS to tell you the truth.

Terror suspects remain in Britain despite deportation pledge

Two dozen terrorist suspects who Gordon Brown signalled would be deported following last summer’s car bomb attacks on Glasgow and London are still in the country, the Daily Telegraph can disclose.

In November, while updating the House of Common on the security outlook following the terrorist attacks in London and Glasgow a few days after he became Prime Minister last July, Mr Brown told MPs that the group were in the process of being deported.

Eight months on, none of the 24 has left the country – and the majority are not even in detention.

Aabid Khan and his global jihad

Aabid Khan's diary entries

Khan recorded his plotting in a diary

Aabid Khan’s conviction marks the latest chapter in a series of raids and arrests across three continents. Four trials have already led to convictions in three countries – and the investigations continue.

Armed police closed in on an apartment on a rutted road in a village on the edge of the Bosnian capital Sarajevo.

As they burst in, they subdued a group of men they had been observing. One of the group had an armed “suicide belt” of explosives.

These arrests in March 2005 were a major breakthrough in an investigation that would reveal how international jihadists were operating through the internet – from North America and Europe through to South Asia.

The searches in Bosnia uncovered a so-called “martyrdom” video explaining in English how the men were fighting on behalf of oppressed Muslims around the world.
