JERUSALEM – The thwarted car bombings in London last week and the terror attack this weekend against Scotland’s busiest airport were “completely justified” and likely the beginning of many more attacks in Britain, a prominent UK Islamist leader connected to terror supporting groups told WND yesterday.

“There is no doubt whatsoever that there will continue to be attacks against the British government, its interests and the home front as long as we see the continued British and American occupation of Muslim land in Iraq and Afghanistan, support for criminal Israel, and draconian measures taken against Muslims in the UK,” said Anjem Choudary, founder and former chief of two Islamic groups disbanded by the British authorities under antiterror legislation.

“A war is being waged against Muslims on every level. There are many in Britain who take their ideology from Osama bin Laden and al-Qaida and are ready to carry out many more attacks,” Choudary said.

Choudary said the attempted terror attacks the past few days were “probably carried out by local British Muslims.”

Choudary currently presents himself as an Islamic lecturer and a leader of Britain’s Shariah Islamic court. He is a founder and former chief of Al Muhajiroun, a British group that sought to impose an Islamic state on the UK and that was allied with the goals of al-Qaida.

Al Muhajiroun, officially disbanded by the British government citing antiterrorism laws in 2004, and its main leader, Omar Bakri Muhammad, were banned from the UK in 2005. Choudary then became a leader of Al Ghurabaa, which was reportedly a continuation of Al Muhajiroun. Al Ghurabaa was banned in 2006 by the UK for reportedly supporting terrorism.

Former Al Muhajiroun members led by Choudary reportedly continue their activism at public protests and on Internet forums under a new banner group called Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaah.

Choudary last weekend led a protest outside London’s Central Mosque attended by WND and Talk Radio Network’s “The Rusty Humphries Show.” The protest called for the downfall of the British government for offering nighthood to novelist and essayist Salman Rushdie, who was accused by Muslims of defaming Islam and Muhammad in his 1998 book “The Satanic Verses.”

Depictions of British flags were burned at Choudary’s protest. Ralliers chanted, “Down with Britain, down with the Queen.”

Choudary told WND the perpetuators of the attempted terror attacks in London the past few days “have their own justifications for carrying out their plans.”

“Muslims in Britain are under siege. There has been unjustified internment, innocent Muslims are in prison, extradition laws have been applied for made up crimes, individuals are arbitrarily arrested. … Don’t be surprised when Muslims fight back,” he said.

British police said they arrested five people yesterday in conjunction with the airport attack carried out by two men driving a fuel-filled Jeep rammed into Scotland’s busiest airport. Police called the incident a terrorist attack linked to failed car bombings in London last week. The two men in the Jeep, who witnesses described as Asians, were immediately taken into custody. According to reports, one of them men was wearing an explosive device around his waist, said to be a suicide-bomb belt.

The airport attack came barely 36 hours after police thwarted what is being described to the media by security officials as a possible al-Qaida plot in London in which two cars loaded with fuel, gas canisters and nails were left in the center of the city poised to detonate.

Newly installed British Prime Minister Gordon Brown addressed his nation yesterday, stating Britons must realize the terrorist threat their country faces is long-term and sustained and that they must remain constantly vigilant about security.

The British Home Office raised the national security alert level to “critical,” the highest ranking and one which indicates further attacks are expected imminently.

“I want all British people to be vigilant and want them to support the police and all the authorities. … I know the British people will stand together united, resolute and strong,” Brown said.

The last terror attack in Britain took place in July 2005, when four British Islamists blew themselves up on London’s transport system, killing 52 commuters.

Muslim cleric a danger on paper

ON paper, he is now Australia’s most dangerous sheik. No other Islamic cleric in the nation can claim as many unfortunate connections to extremists and terrorists as the former boxer from Sydney’s west, 37-year-old Feiz Mohamed.

* There is a reason for that, no? Because Feiz Mohamed has a long record of hate-mongering, and there are lots of CD’s, DVD’s and publications where he preaches his filth: that ‘kufar’ are apes and swine and that ‘jihad is the pinnacle of Islam’- and that muslims should make their kid’s ‘martyr’s for the cause…

The notorious reputation of this one-time street kid and alcoholic was sealed this week when it was revealed that four Australians arrested in Lebanon for suspected extremist activities were proteges of the hardline Sheik Feiz.

Najat Elomar, the wife of one of the detained Australians, told The Weekend Australian from Tripoli last night that she was aware of Sheik Feiz’s reputation but said he had not been in Lebanon during their visit.

She said of the arrest of her husband Ahmed, a reigning Australian champion boxer: “Sometimes innocent people get arrested for simply being in the wrong place at the wrong time.”

Hardly. People around the Jihad Sheik Feiz Mohammed are there for a reason.

Sheik Feiz’s former students and friends include the nation’s first convicted terrorist, Jack Roche; the founders of Jemaah Islamiah in Australia, the Ayub brothers; Zac Mallah, who was acquitted after becoming the first person to be charged under Australia’s tough new terror laws; Rabiyah Hutchison, whose sons have been deported from Yemen; controversial hardline cleric Sheik Mohammed Orman; and most of those now facing terror charges in Sydney and Melbourne.

But who is this low-profile cleric who has built a cult-like following among troubled Lebanese youths in Sydney’s southwestern suburbs?

Unlike some of his fellow hardliners, Sheik Feiz is a complex character who is not easily stereotyped. Despite his connections, he maintains an unusually close and cordial relationship with ASIO and the AFP.

Despite living mostly in Lebanon since late 2005, Sheik Feiz has remained in regular contact with Australian authorities, who believe he has the power to both inflame and tame some of his hothead followers.

Sources say that until 2003 Sheik Feiz was mostly a force for good among Sydney’s Muslim youth, using the Koran to lure many of them away from drink, drugs and crime.

“The number of people who have passed through his centre and benefited far exceeds the number who have ended up in trouble,” says one prominent Muslim who asked not to be named.

* They have become ‘good Muslims’- no doubt.

And we know what ‘good Muslims’ do to unbelievers….

“The issue, however, is that he is appealing to the same demographic of disgruntled, angry young men from which extremists and terrorists are likely to appear, so naturally, given he’s operating in that ‘market’, a small percentage of the people who he comes into contact with or who pass through his centre may end up involved in that stuff.”

* There is no evidence that there is ‘a small number of such people’- whenever we take a closer look we find that the overwhelming majority of Muslims is in on it…

The trouble for Sheik Feiz is that the ledger is now squarely against him — too many of his former students have got into trouble to allow him to claim complete immunity.

“I condemn in the highest way every act of terrorism,” Sheik Feiz said in a rare interview at his Sydney horse farm in 2003. “Go and listen to what we say, go and listen to what we teach, we oppose terrorism.”

But those who have listened to Sheik Feiz since then have heard very different words.

* Of course he does condemn ‘terrorism’ – The terror which he believes is inflicted by the infidels against the ‘ummah of believers’- for him resisting Islam is terrorism.

The attacks sparked scattered incidents of racist abuse on the streets of London, with young white men targeting Muslim taxi drivers and others of South Asian appearance. Glasgow lawmaker Mohammad Sarwar said some Muslims in Scotland had been threatened or targeted with abusive graffiti.

Oh, horror of horrors. Thousands of non-Muslims were targeted and threatened with mass murder. What does Sarwar have to say about what he plans to do to keep that from happening again?

“I have spoken to a number of people from the Muslim community and the Asian community who feel very angry,” he told British Broadcasting Corp. radio.
He said Scottish Muslim leaders were meeting in Glasgow to discuss the attacks’ impact on their community.

“They’re concerned about a backlash and that’s why the emergency meeting has been called.”

Muslim anger was directed at the terrorists — but also at a society some felt singles Muslims out for scrutiny whenever there is a terrorist attack.

“We are seething with anger about this,” said Osama Saeed, Scottish spokesman for the Muslim Association of Britain.

“As a community not only are we just as likely to be victims as anyone else, but we are also looked to in order to provide direction and in some respects take responsibility for this,” he added.

“We are sick of being defined as a community by terrorism and having to answer for it.”

Then do more to prevent it, and voila! Insults and fears of backlash will evansce!

On an official level, government and Islamic groups say they have made great strides since July 7, 2005, when four British Muslims blew themselves up on the London transport system, killing 52 commuters.
In the weeks that followed, several mosques were attacked by arsonists, while others received hate mail. Some women reported having their traditional head scarves pulled off in the street.

Relations between the government and many British Muslims had already been strained by the unpopular wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Many Muslims also feel they were unfairly targeted for suspicion and have born the brunt of the government’s tough new anti-terror measures.

They are not being unfairly targeted for suspicion. How many British Hindus have plotted terror attacks? British Jews? British Anything Else But Muslims?

The government has made a point of reaching out to Muslim groups and consulting with umbrella organizations like the Muslim Council of Britain, which represents more than 400 affiliated mosques and organizations.
Gordon Brown, who took over as prime minister from Tony Blair on Wednesday, appointed Shahid Malik, an up-and-coming legislator from northern England, as the country’s first-ever Muslim government minister.

On Sunday, Brown stressed the need to isolate extremists from the broader Muslim community.

“We have got to separate those great moderate members of our community from a few extremists who wish to practice violence and inflict maximum loss of life in the interests of a perversion of their religion,” he said.

Yes, we keep hearing that. That sounds like what Blair said after 7/7. And now two years after that, how much progress have we made?

The problem with this is that, while no innocent people should be scapegoated, Salmond is just one of a long list of officials who refuse to face the fact that attackers such as those we have seen in Britain over the last few days couldn’t just as well be Buddhists, but rather arise from the Islamic community, and base their actions upon Islamic principles. Scotland’s new First Minister, Alex Salmond, has promised that no community will be “scapegoated” because of the terror attack on Glasgow Airport.
After praising the response of the emergency services after a burning Jeep was rammed into the airport’s terminal building, he said the police would not be looking for scapegoats.

“Community bonds will remain strong,” he said.

He added that terror attacks were opportunistic rather than discriminatory and repeated calls for the public to remain vigilant.

Opportunistic rather than discriminatory? I’m not sure what that means, but perhaps Salmond is trying to say that Muslims might have been killed too, had all the plots been successful. And that is true, but they were nevertheless jihad plots, and ultimately can only be dealt with effectively as such.

LONDON (AFP) – London Mayor Ken Livingstone called on Britons Saturday not to demonize Muslims after a double car bomb plot was foiled in the capital, amid fears of a Islamist terror threat.
At the same time he criticized Britain over its ties with Saudi Arabia, which he said had fuelled intolerance in the past through its Wahhabist form of Islam, creating a “major problem.”

“In this city, Muslims are more likely to be law-abiding than non-Muslims and less likely to support the use of violence to achieve political ends than non-Muslims,” he told BBC Radio.

Really? And what terror plots have non-Muslims perpetrated recently in London?

Red Ken sees it all as a racial issue, when it is an ideological one. There is much in the jihad ideology that does make Muslims more of a threat to non-Muslim society than others are. But the Mayor has never examined the evidence for this, and probably never will.

Sky Crime Reporter Martin Brunt said two of the men arrested, one at Glasgow airport and one on the M6, are believed to be hospital doctors working in the UK.

He said: “This is very far removed from the picture we normally have. These are professional people with highly paid jobs who are intent on killing people.”

Meanwhile a suspect car has been blown up by police in the grounds of the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley where one of the suspects from the Glasgow airport attack is in a critical condition and being held under armed guard.

The hospital was cordoned off and army disposal experts called in to carry out the controlled explosion. Strathclyde Police said they believed the car was connected to the attack at Glasgow airport but did not contain explosives.

Doctor’s house searched

Anti-terror police swooped on what is thought to be the home of a hospital doctor as part of the investigation into the failed car bombings in London and Glasgow.

A police cordon and tent were in place at the detached property in a suburban cul-de-sac in north Staffordshire.

The Metropolitan Police would neither confirm nor deny that the search was linked to arrests of a man and woman on the M6 in Cheshire yesterday.

Officers arrived at the house in Sunningdale Grove, Chesterton, last night, said residents. The house, they said, was rented by a doctor thought to be married with one young child.

One of the doctors, the man arrested on the M6, was said to be a Jordanian-born doctor at the North Staffordshire Hospital in Stoke-on-Trent.

He lived with his wife and baby in a rented house in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, where forensic officers were carrying out a detailed search last night.

The doctor is suspected of having played a key role in the planning of the terror strikes.

One of the two men overpowered as they attacked Glasgow Airport has 90 per cent burns and is too badly injured to be interviewed, but the second was being questioned last night.

Police believe they are all part of a previously unknown Al Qaeda-linked cell made up of people of Middle Eastern origin.

* They are not ‘Al Qaeda-‘ they are good Muslims and they all read the Koran.
The doctor involved in the Glasgow attack is an Iraqi who is thought to have been granted asylum in the UK while a third suspect comes from Lebanon.

At least one other member of the cell was still being hunted last night.

It is interesting to note just how erroneous the media’s reporting on that incident was as exemplified by Washington Post reporter Ellen Knickmeyer who six months later took the word of a so-called “Iraqi witness” from Haditha and reported that the men in the cab “happened upon the scene inadvertently” while riding in the cab.

Nat Helms is author of a new book, “My Men Are My Heroes” which provides an account of the incredible bravery of Sgt. Brad Kasal in the second battle of Fallujah.
He stated that Knickmeyer wrote about a witness who said that the taxi driver turned onto the street and saw the wrecked Humvee and the Marines, and then the cab driver tried to back away at full speed. The Marines opened fire from about 30 yards away, killing all the men inside the taxi. Dela Cruz reportedly pumped his 30-round M-16 magazine into the car when they tried to run.
Even worse, later media reports said the cab carrying four known insurgents was occupied by four “college students,” along with the cab driver, who were on their way to school.
These false reports however, pale in the face of the role played by Time magazine Tim McGirk and Time itself. According to McGirk’s first story, a “budding journalism student” had given him a video he had taken after the killing of the civilians in the houses near the site of the IED explosion.

Almost immediately, Time had to correct the story, revealing that the “budding journalism student” was actually 43-year-old Taher Thabet al-Hadithi who just happened to be on hand to videotape the aftermath of the killing in the houses.
Time also identified al-Hadithi as head of something called the Hammurabi Organization for Human Rights and Democracy Monitoring. Time reported that the Hammurabi Human Rights group was affiliated with Human Rights Watch. Human Rights Watch vehemently denied they had any connection or any ties or association with the Hammurabi Human Rights Group, and Time wrote a retraction.
It was then revealed that the Hammurabi Human Rights group was a group of two: Hadithi and Ali Omar Abrahem al-Mashhadani, a Reuters News Service reporter who was previously arrested by U.S. Marines in his home town of Ramadi and underwent weeks of interrogation at the infamous Abu Ghraib Prison.
His American warders told Reuters that he was released in a general amnesty in late 2005 along with about 500 other Iraqi prisoners. Reuters also reported that he spent five months in U.S. custody before being released without charges.
Three months later al-Mashhadani was the darling of Time magazine, Nat Helms wrote sarcastically.
NewsMax can now reveal that the battalion S2 knew that the insurgents were following their usual practice of videotaping an ambush. And it was a series of cell phone communications between Hadithi and Mashhadani, both known insurgents, that alerted the Marines to the impending ambush.

CNN says earlier reports that the burned Glasgow terrorist died of his injuries are incorrect; he’s alive but in critical condition.

LONDON, England (CNN) — The United Kingdom raised its terrorism threat level to critical, the highest level possible, Saturday after a vehicle plowed into the terminal building at Scotland’s busiest airport and burst into flames. Authorities at the highest levels are assuming the fiery incident in Glasgow is directly linked to the discovery Friday of two explosives-laden cars in London.

One of two men who drove the car into the terminal’s main entrance was in critical condition at a hospital. It was erroneously reported earlier that he had died.

Police and witnesses in Glasgow described an SUV-style vehicle in flames being driven at full speed toward the building. Witness Jackie Kennedy told the BBC that a man got out of the car, went to the back and pulled out a can of fuel, which he poured on himself and ignited.

“The guy was in flames and seemed to be enjoying himself,” Kennedy said. …

Jim Manson said he saw a car “with a couple of guys in it trying to push their way into the airport terminal building.”

The vehicle “suddenly caught fire” as one of the two — himself on fire — tried to open up the back of the car, Manson told British television. There was then a small explosion, and the front of the terminal appeared to catch fire.

“Everyone just ran,” Manson said. “We’re absolutely terrified, you can imagine. The first thing on all our minds was: Is there an accident? Is there a terrorist attack?”

When I was still a member of what is probably best termed the British Jihadi Network, a series of semi-autonomous British Muslim terrorist groups linked by a single ideology, I remember how we used to laugh in celebration whenever people on TV proclaimed that the sole cause for Islamic acts of terror like 9/11, the Madrid bombings and 7/7 was Western foreign policy.
By blaming the government for our actions, those who pushed the ‘Blair’s bombs’ line did our propaganda work for us. More important, they also helped to draw away any critical examination from the real engine of our violence: Islamic theology.

She has gained a place in history with her writings about the history of Islamic aggression against non-Muslims, for her studies of the condition known as dhimmitude, and for coining the term “Eurabia” for a Europe in thrall to its Third-World Muslim immigrants.

Niall Ferguson has written that “[n]o writer has done more than Bat Ye’or to draw attention to the menacing character of Islamic extremism. Future historians will one day regard her coinage of the term ‘Eurabia’ as prophetic. Those who wish to live in a free society must be eternally vigilant. Bat Ye’or’s vigilance is unrivalled.”

EURABIA’S AUTHOR COMES TO CANADA  – Muslims go nuts, as usual…

 This diminutive, gentle and brilliant 74-year-old lady seems to positively terrify them. They urge immigration authorities “immediately to bar Bat Ye’or from entering Canada.”

Being deported because of Arab anger would, however, be nothing new to the author of a host of internationally acclaimed works on the history of Islam and its treatment of Jews and Christians. She and her family were forced to leave their native Egypt in 1957, part of the more than one million Jews who were exiled from Muslim states after the Second World War and the foundation of Israel. Bat Ye’or’s name roars the horror of it all. It is a pseudonym, meaning “Daughter of the Nile” in Hebrew. Her name is Gisele Orebi.

The persecuted Jews of the Middle East. The silenced catastrophe. A wave of innocents whose existence in Arab lands pre-dated the birth of Islam. Their numbers were greater than those of the Palestinian refugees and they were frequently treated far more harshly. Yet the world said very little, and today the Islamic bloc and their allies in the United Nations and elsewhere pretend this post-Biblical exodus did not happen.

“It is, I suppose, deeply ironic that I was told that I was not allowed to live in Egypt when I was a girl and now as a grown woman I’m told, in part by people from Egypt, that I shouldn’t come to Canada either. As for Israel, they’d like that to disappear,” she says, more bemused than bitter. “Where ought I to go? No matter. The story has to be told, the true story of how Islam has treated and still does treat its minorities.”

“As late as the early 20th century, in some Muslim countries Jews had to remove their shoes when they left their own quarter, were not allowed to ride a horse, were treated as second-class citizens. This idea of equality is nonsense. Their numbers were restricted, especially in the Holy Land, and the same was true of Christians. There were periodic pogroms, right up till the 1940s.”

Ladies and gentlemen I would first like to thank the Fraser Institute for having invited me to this very important conference and that it is very important issues which are very topical for our time. I have to congratulate the Institute and the speakers for the clarity of their speech that were pronounced and the acute examination of problems of today, current problems. Coming from Europe, I must say that I am full of admiration because such a conference would have never taken place in Europe. Maybe in Italy, maybe, but with such topical discussion, so much frankness and sincerity and also objectivity is really remarkable. So my thanks to the institute for having invited met to participate in this very important conference.

I have learned much from the distinguished speakers who exposed their policies to prevent the immigration of terrorism of its development into Canada. This problem emerged from two modern phenomena: mass immigration and global Jihadism linked to petrodollars. However, there is no reason to see that all immigration are impact to terrorism, especially if the immigrants share the democratic values of their host countries. Immigration is identical for western democracies, values and of the host countries. If this immigration is linked to global Jihadist ideology, if it is culturally and religiously hostile to western values to secularism, if it refuses integrations and aims at replacing the western Judeo-Christian culture and secular political institutions by a Sharia Jihadist system.

Terrorism must be seen as the ultimate attack on the human being, on human rights and freedom, as a modern expression of physical and intellectual misstatement. I want to take this opportunity to express my deep admiration and sympathy for all victims of terror, whatever their religion and who are persecuted because of their resistance to tyranny.

And this situation is not limited to dictatorships but it exists also in Europe where intellectuals, professors and journalists are threatened and have to hide or have to be guarded just for having exercised their constitutional rights. Terrorism is the means used by foreign forces to dominate and control other countries therefore for instance, using their leaders as puppets. This [lattel] if they submit maintain the functional appearance of independence and democracy while in effect, the whole system is corrupted and can [camp] suddenly giving way to civil war.

For historical geographical strategic reasons, the situation in Europe is different from that in America, but from what I heard since yesterday, I found striking similarities between the situation in Canada and in Europe. In fact, the situation we see, we are living now in Europe, is the result of the decisions that have been taken in the 1960s and 1970s and of the pressure Europe then surrendered to the terrorists’ threat following two events:

* A just-graduated student named Mohammed Reza Taheri-azar, 22, and an Iranian immigrant, drove a sport utility vehicle into a crowded pedestrian zone. He struck nine people but, fortunately, none were severely injured.

Until his would-be murderous rampage, Taheri-azar, a philosophy and psychology major, had an apparently normal existence and promising future.

Sentence Fury Of Hit & Run Victim’s Family

The furious family of a young woman left for dead by a callous hit-and-run driver said they were “speechless” after the cold-blooded culprit was told he’d spend just six weeks in jail.

Pretty victim Amy Verlander, 22, was in a coma for three weeks after being brutally mowed down as she waited for a taxi and is still in a wheelchair seven months after the sickening smash.

Brave Amy, who works for the Independent Police Complaints Commission, has been in and out of hospital since the devastating collision on Burdett Road in Limehouse, east London, on September 2nd last year.

She was left with a catalogue of horrific injuries including a broken neck, spinal injuries, a punctured lung, fractured pelvis, crushed diaphragm, shattered ribs and a broken arm.

It was only thanks to the actions of a passing motorist – who flagged down a police car – that Amy, of Poplar, east London, survived.

The driver who mowed down Amy, 28-year-old Mohammed Rahman, claimed he fell asleep at the wheel and did not realise he’d hit anyone – despite a smashed driver’s window and blood pouring from his ear.

Rahman, of Limehouse, east London, who works part-time as a waiter, even took his car in for repairs on the Monday – two days after the smash – but did not report it to police for 11 days.

Judith Woodforde, prosecuting, told Thames Magistrates Court today that Rahman fell asleep at the wheel after driving home from work in Epping.

She said a witness, Anjem Choudary, said he had been driving his Toyota Yaris “hard”. Mr Choudary told police he thought the car had struck a “large bin because the noise of the impact was so loud”.

He admitted charges of careless driving, failing to stop and failing to report the accident at an earlier court hearing.

British citizen Rahman, who is of Bengali origin and doesn’t speak any English, was sentenced to a total of three months in jail.

But Amy’s mum and dad, who were sat in the public gallery, heard that he would only have to serve six weeks behind bars.

They told how their lives had been “shattered” by the accident and slammed the “joke” sentence.

Driver in court after fatal crash

A taxi driver has appeared in court charged with the manslaughter of a 17-year-old from the Black Country who died as he tried to hail a cab.
Father-of-six Ghulan Hussain, 44, of West Bromwich, appeared at the town’s magistrates’ court on Friday.

The incident started in Hollyhedge Road, West Bromwich early on Sunday. Scott Poll’s body was later found in Hall Green Road, a mile away.

Mr Hussain was remanded in custody until a hearing on 26 May.

Joke court denies justice

THE SUN launched a major campaign two years ago to Nail The Danger Drivers – by ending the scandal of soft sentences for killer motorists.

We were delighted when the Government bowed to pressure and brought in tough new laws.

Readers hoped deadly motorists would finally get the jail terms they deserved.

So did Sun Sport columnist Charlie Catchpole — until his son-in-law was mown down in a hit-and-run.

Now Paul Dix, 38, lies in a coma, unlikely to recover. And Charlie’s daughter, Charlotte, has been left to pick up the pieces and try to comfort their little son, Freddie.

Although the driver, Amirunnes Hassan, did not have a valid licence and failed to stop, she was fined just £50.

Here, Charlie tells of the devastation caused to his family.

The bottom line, is that this story will be discussed in ways that avoid its direct ties to Islam, and will quickly fade away; just like Ismail Ax at Virginia Tech, like Lee Malvo and John Muhammad – the Beltway Snipers, like Sulejmen Talovic, who shot up a mall and killed shoppers in Salt Lake City, Utah, like Naveed Afzal Haq, who stormed the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle office with his shotgun, pistol, and Qur’an, like Omeed Aziz Popal, who ran over San Francisco pedestrians and the people who came to their rescue with his 2-ton car, like US Army Sergeant Asan Akbar, who threw grenades in the tents of his sleeping “comrades” in the beginning days of the Iraq war, like Ahmed Ressam, who was caught with explosives in his trunk at the Canadian/US border on his way to blow up the Golden Gate bridge, like the Islamic perpetrators of the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center, like Ramsey Yusuf’s connection to the Oklahoma City massacre, and the many hundreds of others Islamic jihad stories just like them.

These perpetrators came from far and wide – Jamaica, Pakistan, Algeria, Canada, Jordan, Kosovo, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Iran, Bosnia, the United States, … and spanned all the colors of the human rainbow – white, black, yellow, orange, purple, … The only thing they had in common was an allegiance to Allah and the inspiration to kill that they derived from the life and teachings of Muhammad that they found in their Qur’ans.
