Rome, 3 April (AKI) – Prosecutors in the northern Italian city of Turin were scheduled to start investigating on Tuesday footage of an imam at the local Cottolengo mosque, Mohammed Kohalia, calling on Muslims to hate Christians and Jews and praying for their death. “The Prophet has said that the extremists [Jews and Christians] will be destroyed,” the cleric is heard as saying in footage secretly filmed by a journalist. “Allah should kill the polytheists.”

The DVD portraying Kohaila’s sermon was filmed with a hidden camera by a faithful attending the prayers on behalf of a news programme on state broadcaster RAI’s second channel, Annozero. Only part of the footage was broadcast last Thursday while the remaining 40 minutes containing the harshest threats against Christians and Jews could reportedly be shown later this week.

The footage also allegedly shows magazines calling for jihad, or holy war.

In the video, Kohaila says that “no compromise can be reached with atheists, they must be killed, full stop.”

He also talks about women saying that “men are superior: a 500 [small FIAT car] cannot compete with a Ferrari” and tells the gathering that men should beat women who disobey.

Kohaila’s predecessor, Bouriqi Boutcha of Morocco, was expelled from Italy in 2004 on suspicion he was linked to Islamic militants.

Tolerance does not mean toleration of atrocities under the umbrella of relativism. It is time for all of us in the free world to face the reality of Salafi Islam or the reality of radical Islam will continue to face us.

Iran has released a German tourist it held for almost 16 months because his boat accidentally strayed into restricted waters during a fishing excursion in the Persian Gulf. Klein’s family and the German government spent over a year pleading with Iran to let him go. Now he’s got to wait for an exit visa.

Donald Klein’s ordeal is almost over. Iran has agreed to release the German tourist two months early after he spent almost 16 months in jail because his fishing boat accidentally entered a restricted zone in the Persian Gulf while on vacation in Dubai.

Klein, 53, from Lambsheim in southwestern Germany, was sentenced to 18 months in jail by an Iranian court for illegally crossing a border. The sculptor, a passionate angler, had been on vacation in Dubai in November 2005 and had hired a boat to catch swordfish and parrot fish in the Persian Gulf.

The Iranian authorities released his French skipper, Stephane Lherbier, on February 25. He had steered the vessel into the Strait of Ormuz and close to the island of Abu Mussa, a restricted zone. Both Klein and Lherbier would have reached the end of their sentences at the end of May.

It’s not yet yet clear when Klein will return to Germany. He is still waiting for an exit visa. Klein’s lawyer Klaus Kübler said: “It’s a great joy and a great relief for his family and him.”

Iranian officials had initially responded to German appeals for his release by linking the case to that of Kazem Darabi, serving a life sentence in Germany for the 1992 assassination of four Iranian-Kurdish opposition leaders in a Berlin restaurant.

Terrorists – coming to a school near you – Police ill-equipped to defend against an American Beslan

Authorities fear the school massacre that shook Russia a few years ago may be a dress rehearsal for what al-Qaida plans to do in America – only on a grander scale, launching multiple school attacks simultaneously across the country.

In 2004, Chechen terrorists associated with al-Qaida seized a school building in Beslan, Russia, and slaughtered 338, including 172 children.

Three years later, schools and local police in this country are still unprepared to deal with such an assault, experts warn. Most don’t have response plans for handling a single active shooter, let alone a cell of trained terrorists launching a large-scale attack.

Yet terror cells secreted inside America may be planning to use buses, as well as other vehicles and methods, as a Trojan horse to infiltrate school campuses and massacre students and teachers.

The FBI and Homeland Security Department last month distributed a bulletin to law enforcement across the country warning that Muslims with “ties to extremist groups” are signing up to be school bus drivers. They also noted “recent suspicious activity” by foreigners who either drive school buses or are licensed to drive them.

“The enemy is infiltrating us at all levels, and certainly school bus drivers are one area to look at,”
warned retired Lt. Col. Dave Grossman, president of Killology Research Group, an anti-terror consultancy that trains the FBI and other law enforcement. “And how about high school, middle school and elementary school cafeteria workers? Janitors? Delivery people?”

Grossman says some school district security officials he works with have expressed concerns about some of the Muslim employees schools are hiring.

“But no one dares profile them,” he told WND.

“Islamic terrorists are already in place in the U.S. and, yes, that includes bus drivers, cafeteria workers and also airport workers,” added Grossman, a former Army Ranger and West Point professor.
