Political representatives of western democracies have spent recent decades betraying their own people and their exceptional cultural heritages by allowing uncontrolled mass immigration.

There is legitimate room for debate about the extent and character of controlled immigration. People and politicians can have different views. But there should be no argument about stopping “illegal” immigration. The only question is how best to do it.

MORE THAN100 people – most of them women – are converting to Islam in Sydney each year, and ­experts warn some new converts are more likely to adopt extremist elements of the religion.

Such radicalism was highlighted by the death last week in Syria of former Queensland Anglican schoolgirl turned Muslim jihadist Amira Karroum, 22, who is believed to have been killed by rebel fighters in Aleppo alongside her US-born husband Yusuf Ali.

Ms Karroum had adopted an extremist form of the faith, praising terrorist Osama bin Laden and supporting the ­violent Muslim riots in Sydney in 2012.

Taliban Attack Kills 16 at Restaurant Favored by Westerners

A senior IMF official and four UN employees were among 21 people killed in a suicide bomb and gun attack on a restaurant in Kabul, officials say.

Wabel Abdallah, the head of the IMF’s Afghanistan office, and the UN civilian staff died in what UN chief Ban Ki-moon said was a “horrific attack”.  The 13 foreign victims included Canadians, UK, US, Lebanese, Russian and Danish citizens. Five women were among the dead at the city’s popular Taverna du Liban, and at least five were injured, police say.

The attack appeared to be one of the deadliest against Western civilians in Kabul since 2001, with Afghan and Western officials saying as many as 13 of the dead were expatriates.

Notice the total deflection. The MCB was called for comment on the Sharia no-go zones, said something vague about the police and then started talking about “Islamophobic hate crimes.” Sharia no-go zones? Left unaddressed.

Recently a man was convicted of killing his brother’s wife because ‘she was too powerful’. Defendant brothers, both older men, believed that a woman was disposable if she became too powerful. Another man was sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of his daughter, accusing her of being too westernised. Her body has never been found.

The Sheikh proves once more that Muslims have no regard whatsoever to the life of their own people – and even less so for anyone else’s life.

She was a girl who would throw her arms around mates and greet them with a hug and a kiss as she grew up a “sweet and caring” daughter on the Gold Coast beaches, where her dad ran a kebab shop along the Glitter Strip.

To the people who knew her from those days, she would have seemed the unlikeliest terrorist – they would never have thought of her as a religious martyr.
