On Wednesday the Israeli daily Maariv reported (summarized in English here) that the Israeli defense establishment

totally reject[s] the American proposal for security arrangements in the Jordan Valley…. The American proposal presented to Israel was based on a limited Israeli presence at the border crossings along the Jordan River for a limited number of years, together with the massive use of technological means such as satellites and drones that would replace the army’s presence on the ground.

The position of the security services, as agreed upon recently by the Defense Minister, is that no replacement for the IDF will protect Israel’s security interests, and that even the most advanced technological means do not offer a serious alternative.

Thursday found Secretary of State John Kerry in Israel for the tenth time since taking office last February. His mission was described as “pushing for the sides to agree on guidelines for what the final deal would look like.”

Obama is saying that freedom leads to poverty and force leads to wealth. He’s saying: “Look, we tried leaving you free to live your own life, and that didn’t work. You have to be forced, you have to have your earnings seized by the state, you have to work under our directions–under penalty of fines or imprisonment. You don’t deserve to be free.”

Americans have the “right to be stupid”, said John Kerry.

He believes that “poverty causes terrorism” and that Israeli settlements are “illegitimate”. John Kerry believes that Islamic terrorists only want to kill us “because they have no jobs” and recently told us that “the U.S. will be there for Saudi Arabia, for the Emirates, for Qataris, for the Jordanians….” without mentioning Israel. A few days  ago he told Israel that  the US/Vietnam is an Example for Israel/Palestinians, which  is a bit of a worry. His ignoble behaviour worked out really well for him. It didn’t work out too well for Americans or the free Vietnamese who were left behind. Now he is back pressuring Israel to surrender:

74-year-old Lynne Stewart was released from Federal Medical Center Carswell in Fort Worth, Texas, on Tuesday. She arrived in New York a day later, according to the Associated Press. 1000 new arrivals in Lampedusa

As always, the boats were overcrowded,  just about to capsize and headed for Lampedusa. In the Mediterranean, Italian ships have rescued more than 1,000 illegal immigrants from Africa and Asia in just 24 hours. Helicopters had previously spotted them from the air.

The 823 men, women and children on the four boats came  from Egypt , Pakistan, Iraq and Tunisia.  233 people from Eritrea , Nigeria, Somalia Zambia, Mali and Pakistan were rescued and brought to Sicily, according to  the Navy.

Among the rescued were 30 women and 46 minors. The large number  of arrivals within 24 hours shows that the influx of people from Africa persists. In case the European welcoming culture is not sweet enough, they will surely sew their lips together  to draw attention to their dire situation , and all the good people of Europe give themselves a a pat on the shoulders for courting the illegals .  The EUSSR  is threatening Italy with legal action after a video showed migrants in the cold being stripped and sprayed.

The EU is threatening Italy with legal action over its treatment of migrants after a shocking video was aired on TV. The video showed migrants in the cold being stripped and sprayed for scabies at a holding centre on the Italian island of Lampedusa.

It is prompting the European Commission to investigate Italy for possible breaches of its rules on granting asylum. The mayor of Lampedusa said the footage makes the centre look like a “concentration camp”. But some migrants say they have received much worse treatment than what is shown in the video.  Al Jazeera’s Claudio Lavanga reports from Lampedusa.

Muslim converts engage in terrorism at a higher rate than Muslims. It’s gotten so bad that converting to Islam is almost a form of suicide.

Converts are not part of the family networks of the Muslim settlers in their Western diasporas. That makes them useful cannon fodder. If they are captured, the mosque denies all responsibility and blames the Internet even though most mosques and Muslim student groups host those same speakers who “radicalize” converts over the Internet at their own facilities and events.
