It is not interested in broadcasting events unless it can also script them. It does not want to know what you think, it wants to tell you what to think.  The Mediacracy isn’t playing for peanuts anymore. It’s not out to skew a few stories, it’s out to take control of the country.

They are the smirking people who got tired of telling you how many people died in an earthquake in Indonesia and decided to begin explaining to you why the earthquake is your fault because you don’t ride a bike to work. These are the people who longer want to report on a shooting, but want to tell you that it’s time for a firearms ban. The Truth About Media

Our kids and grandkids are being indoctrinated and duped into believing a very different worldview than their parents and grandparents. One study shows that only 34 percent of adults believe that moral truth is absolute. How different from the country that our forefathers founded!

No wonder our country is heading down the path toward European-style socialism. If the liberal media in this country keep propagating these lies and censoring the real news stories, there won’t be any turning back from this course.

Not even the head of the suicide bomber can be connected to Islam. Its complicated…..

Expect the usual song and dance from the usual suspects and more idiocy from leftist media tarts who are all too eager to play the muselmanic grievance game. I don’t think we have to fear that the media will “overreact” over the death of 18 people, like in the case of the Boston bombing.

Confirmed: Killer is “Black Widow”

Policemen whosurvived the attack said that they had seen a woman they found suspicious. After one of them made an attempt to approach her, the explosion occurred,”

Police identified the suicide bomber as a Dagestan national Oksana Aslanova. The woman received a special training alongside Naida Asiyalova, which carried out a similar attack in Volgograd in late October. Aslanova was the wife of a militant leader, which was eliminated by Russian security forces.

Where is the public debate on this radical change to British society brought about by immigration?

The British home-grown Islamic terrorist threat is treated by the political class as if it were simply a species of common criminality that can be contained and even eliminated with the right policies; never as a growing, deep-rooted and militantly political opposition to the British way of life. How will British political culture deal with a growing Muslim population, a small but significant part of which rejects at the most fundamental level all that Britain stands for?

 The menace of Islam is very real:  who’s persecuting whom?

Al Jazeera, as usual, blames Israel for persecuting Christians.  Perhaps Pope Francis will soon become enlightened to the situation. In a few months he’ll be leading Mass in Bethlehem, a city which, under the Palestinian Authority, has seen its 95 percent Christian population dwindle. Today, the city is 65% Muslim.

• As the world celebrates Christmas, the Muslim world is celebrating victory over its battle against Christians in the Middle East.

Why? Because “Militants” are seeking to impose an Islamist state throughout Russia’s North Caucasus.  Their leader, Doku Umarov, has ordered his foot soldiers to target civilians outside the region and disrupt the Olympic Games.

Female suicide bomber attack in Volgograd, Russia, as Sochi Winter Olympics approach

A female suicide bomber set off a blast in a train station in the southern Russian city of Volgograd that killed at least 18 people, news reports and officials said.

Regional interior ministry spokeswoman Svetlana Smolyaninova told the ITAR-TASS news agency the blast occurred inside a train station about 12.45pm, ahead of February’s Winter Olympic Games in nearby Sochi.

ITAR-TASS said the blast was near metal detectors stationed at the entrance to the city’s main train station.

The Wall Stret Journal, The New York Times and now The New York Post are finally reporting on the war on non-Muslims in Muslim countries. The very thing they have attacked my colleagues and me for reporting on for years. I am sure they are penning their apologies as we speak. Not.

The headline is wrong. It’s not a new war, it’s 1,400 years old. And “islamist” is a silly word for people afraid to say jihad or Islam.

Of course, it’s not just Christians but all non-believers and secular Muslims.

Yesterday’s New York Times Business Day Section had a major article reporting  on Shariah Compliant Finance, “Islamic Banks, Stuffed with Cash, Explore Partnerships in West”.   In late October 2013, weposted on the  Iconoclast  about cheerleading that UK Prime Minister  David Cameron gave at the London meetings of the World Islamic Economic Forum  extolling the virtues of making the City,  “the unrivaled Center for Islamic finance”.   In that post, we drew attention to some of the demonstrable problems  that  the UK had encountered over the past five years  accommodating  “Islamic Economic Imperialism”, the term  used by    Christopher Holton,  Vice President for Outreach  at the Washington, DC-based Center for Security Policy and editor of Sharia Finance Watch.

The New York Times article noted the mushrooming growth of the  global Shariah compliant  financial market place:

Over the last 30 years, the Islamic financial sector has grown from virtually nothing to over $1.6 trillion in assets, according to data from the Global Islamic Financial Review, an industry publication. The financial crisis has only encouraged the growth. Industry assets grew 19 percent in 2011 and 20 percent in 2012, in contrast to the less than 10 percent growth at non-Islamic banks in most of the world.

Until recently, Islamic banks have largely put their money to work in the Middle East — or, if they invested in other parts of the world, in real estate. Real estate is among the most popular investments under Islamic law, also known as Shariah, because a deal can be structured that does not require interest payments, which are prohibited by Shariah. But as the banks grow larger they are looking for new, more diverse places to put their money.

A good example of how it works may be found in the recent activities of the Tunisian branch of the Muslim Brotherhood’s Center for the Study of Islam & Democracy.

The group that founded the CSID in 1999 was made of members of the American Muslim Council.
