Japanese gov”t to support halal food exports to Muslim countries

Muslim con artists keep hammering home the message that there is a market of 1.5 gazillion consumers out there. They never tell their gullible, western counterparts that 75% of Muslim countries can’t feed themselves and that similar numbers of their people subsist on less than a dollar a day. This is yet another effort to get Japan to import hardcore muselmaniacs for the halal certification racket, who will then demand moques, madrases and special accommodation for the “rapidly growing muslim community”, which we have seen elsewhere.

Australia’s largest Muslim school, Malek Fahd Islamic School, is facing imminent closure after New South Wales Board of Studies inspectors recommended its registration not be renewed in 2014.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) – Des Dômes Et Des Minarets reports on the latest anti-Muslim initiative from the French far-right group Génération Identitaire, who were responsible for a widely publicised occupation of a mosquein Poitiers last year (and presumably also for the anti-Islam banner hung from the same building earlier this month).

Following the recent announcement that the mayor and municipal council have agreed to lease a plot of land to the city’s Muslim association for the construction of a new mosque, Génération Identitaire activists in the Lorraine capital of Metz have been changing street signs, by giving them new names intended to suggest that the city is undergoing a process of Islamification.

The new names include “Place de la mosquée”, “Rue de la lapidation”, “Rue de la charia”, “Rue du niqab” and “Place Allah Akbar”. The signs also feature the additional note “With the collaboration of the mayor of Metz”.

Génération Identitaire Lorraine has posted photos of the street signs on its Facebook page, along with a statement justifying the stunt as a “symbolic action”, the aim of which was to denounce “the increasing Islamisation of our city and the entire region”. By such actions the organisation hopes to “raise the awareness of the population about the growing expansion of the Muslim yoke over our daily lives”. It calls on the people of Metz to resist the building of the new mosque.

Obama tries to convince Jewish groups to disregard Israel’s interests

On Tuesday, President Hussein Obama sent White House national security advisor Susan Rice, her deputies Ben Rhodes and Tony Blinken and Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman to meet with four Jewish organizations to convince them not to lobby Congress in favor of new sanctions against Iran.

The White House meeting witnessed forceful exchanges between the two sides on the merits of the sanctions package, sources tell The Jerusalem Post.

The afternoon meeting lasted over an hour and was characterized as a “serious exchange” over strategy during this delicate diplomatic window.

One White House official called the meeting “constructive” and said no animus was expressed.

In recent days a number of leading Jewish groups, including AIPAC, the Jewish Council for Public Affairs and the Jewish Federations of North America, have reiterated support for advancing through Congress new and enhanced Iran sanctions, although the Obama administration has made clear publicly that it would prefer Congress put off dealing with the legislation until after the next round of talks in mid-November.

If there were ‘forceful exchanges’ you can bet that J Street and ‘Jewish’ Voice for ‘Peace’ weren’t there.

A teacher exposes the absurd double standards that plague  U.S.institutions of higher learning and is promptly sacked.

Early in his career as a high school music teacher, David Spondike was upset at students one day, so he did something that likely a few of his colleagues often feel like doing but never try: He yelled “f**k you” at his charges and threw a chair across the room.

Spondike, who holds a Ph.D. in music theory and composition, was reprimanded by Firestone High School in Akron, Ohio, for his chair-tossing and cursing back in December 2000.

Of course, assuming administrators knew Spondike worked as an assistant director for the infamous Jerry Springer Show in Cincinnati from 1991 to 1993, they might have concluded Spondike wasn’t unfamiliar with such behavior.

But then there was his spitting-on-the-floor incident two months later (a student fell asleep in class; Spondike was reprimanded). And then in March 2007, Spondike was accused of choking a middle school student; police and child services cleared him, saying it was unsubstantiated.

Which brings us to October 2013. Spondike, apparently upset at an early trick-or-treater who urinated outside his house in front of children over the weekend, had this to say on his Facebook page last Sunday night (Warning: offensive language ahead):

Not surprisingly, Spondike’s message got back to his bosses, and now he’s been placed on paid administrative leave while Akron Public Schools investigate, reported WKYC-TV in Cleveland.

RIP Lou Reed

Cardinal Gianfranco Ravasi, the Vatican’s culture minister, on Monday tweeted out a verse from Reed’s song “Perfect Day.” On his Twitter account @CardRavasi he wrote: “Oh, it’s such a perfect day/ I’m glad I spend it with you/ Oh, such a perfect day/ You just keep me hanging on (Lou Reed).”

Reed saw the absurdity of life surrounding him and despite it all—following Fackenheim’s call for the 614th commandment not to grant Hitler a posthumous victory—he embraced life! May the memory of rock n’ roll animal, Louis Rabinowitz—Lou Reed, be a blessing, and in the final words of the Warsaw Ghetto rebbe in 1943: Es zol zich zingen a shira —“So shall the song sing itself.”
