Beautiful. Muselmaniacs get to decide the topic of discussion, which means they will entertain us with their usual grievance theatre and demand the jiziya, to be paid with willing submission.

Since 2006, the German government forces  the so-called ‘Islam-conference’ on recalcitrant Muslim ‘leaders’,  who appear, make their demands and leave without ever conceding anything to the frustrated kafirs. Islam-critics, the  remaining few who muster enough courage to speak out against the criminal aggression of the Mohammedans,  are shouted down by  the support industry of dhimmies and fellow travellers, and usually the soldiers of Allah go home with more jiziya and concessions for their grievances. A pathetic, degenerated circus of vanities without principles or morality.

 Muslim leaders criticized on Saturday the agenda of the German Islamic Conference taking place next week. They do not want terrorism as a key subject, nor Islam critics to attend, the Süddeutsche Zeitung reported.

They are also unhappy that the entire agenda has been drafted by the interior ministry. The event, which debuted in 2006 with the proposed aim of promoting dialogue between the government and Muslim communities, has witnessed a loss of support over stalled talks and lack of progress.

Benjamin Idriz, an imam who leads the Islamic Community Penzberg (Islamische Gemeinde Penzberg or IGP) in a town south of Munich, has achieved prominence in Germany as an exponent of a rational, modern understanding of Islam. Yet aspects of Idriz’s biography and public positions call into question his enlightened image with unsettling links to radical Islamic elements.

Idriz presents his conception of Islam in his autobiographical 2010 book Grüß Gott, Herr Imam!: Eine Religion ist angekommen (Greetings Mr. Imam!: A Religion has Arrived). As Idriz describes in it, and online at his mosque’s website, he “grew up in Macedonian Skopje in a multilingual house.” His family counts a “series of venerable imams reaching back generations.” Correspondingly, Idriz memorized the Koran by the age of 11, earning him the traditional Islamic honorific of hafiz.

Idriz’s opus describes an Islam supportive of human morality and not sectarian barbarism. He regrets that “unfortunately there are in fact Muslims who mistake jihad for violence and terror, understand under sharia medieval corporal punishments, and propagate a conflict between Islam and the so-called Western culture.” Idriz places in his “weekly sermons the main emphasis upon universal values…as old as our cosmos.”

These universal and sectarian understandings, he writes, correspond to “two various forms of Islam.” There is one version that “formed itself in the process of revelation as it was given to Muhammad.” A second corrupted version “was instrumentalized for political goals after Muhammad’s death…and was also strongly dogmatized in its dogma-free aspects.”

The New (Islamic) Face of Bosnia

Turkish student graduated from Bosnian school after 135 years

For the first time since Bosnia and Herzegovina was no longer part of the Ottoman Empire, a student from Turkey has graduated from the Gazi Husrev Madrasah, the oldest educational institution in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Gazi Husrev Madrasah (religious high school), built under the commission of Sultan Bayezid II’s grandson Gazi Husrev Bey in 1537, is one of the rare institutions in the Bosnia and Herzegovina and Europe which has provided education for 463 continuous years.

Many students from Anatolia had graduated from this school, which was an important educational institution in the Balkans during the Ottoman period, until the annexation of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Austro-Hungarian Empire in 1878.

During the 463th graduation ceremony held last Saturday, Saliha Balci became the first student from Anatolia to graduate from the school in 135 years.

A substantial number of Palestinians think suicide bombing is justified, a poll by the PEW Research Center published this week found.

The survey, that polled Muslims in 21 countries worldwide, found that 40 percent of Palestinians believe that attacks against civilians in defense of Islam can be often or sometimes justified.

The Otranto Cathedral was consecrated in 1088. In August 1480, clergy and survivors of the Ottoman siege of Otranto took refuge in the cathedral – the Ottoman force eventually broke in and killed those inside, turning the church into a stable or a mosque and destroying its 13th century frescoes. After Otranto was retaken in 1481 by a force under Alfonso V of Aragon it was turned back into a church and heavily rebuilt to house the relics of the Martyrs of Otranto, who had been executed after the 1480 siege. Behind the chapel’s altar is the ‘stone of martyrdom’, traditionally held to be that used to behead the martyrs. On August 12, 1480, 800 citizens were taken to the hill of Minerva, now called the Hill of the Martyrs, and beheaded because they refused to renounce their Catholic faith. Their remains were taken to the cathedral and the skulls preserved in the altar piece as a prominent reminder of these 800 martyrs.

DOZENS of al-Qa’ida-produced videos, including step-by-step instructions on how to make bombs, were uploaded on to the Facebook profile of an Australian man accused by Saudi authorities of planning to travel to Afghanistan to fight in the conflict.

The page of Shayden Jamil Thorne, who also goes by the name Jamil Abu Slieman, also features “notes” in Arabic, purportedly written by the 25-year-old former Perth man in which he asked Allah to make “our brothers the mujaheddin victorious for your sake everywhere”.

Under a video uploaded under his Arabic name that showed Taliban fighters in their down-time, someone using the same name commented: “Look at the joy and happiness, I ask God that (I) be joined with them.”

In two uploaded videos, both titled “Explosive Charges are more Effective” and produced by al-Qa’ida in Iraq, detailed instructions on how to construct improvised explosive devices were shown.

The fascist cop, Insp. Ricky Veerappan, already admitted that they threatened the rabbi with his removal from the York chaplaincy, so how does the National Post run a headline like this? The police thug admits it in this article:

“If he had not cancelled the event – and again, that was his decision – then we would have had to re-evaluate his relationship with York Regional Police because it would be clearly be in contravention of the values of our organization,” said Insp. Veerappan.

Values? So this thug supports gender apartheid, creed apartheid, misogyny, honor killings, clitordectomies, et al?

Police dispute allegations that there were any threats of intimidation, saying instead that “a discussion” took place…

“A discussion.” Who does this sharia enforcer think he is? Don Corleone?

Salim Mansur, a tenured professor at Western University, wrote a letter to police Chief Eric Jolliffe, criticizing what he considers a constraint on free speech.

“Are we turning into one of those Third World countries where a police chief can pick up the phone and tell a free institution, in this case a religious institution, that you can not do this and you can do this?” he said by phone on Thursday.

“I’m speaking here as a Muslim. I’m terribly angry and upset that these people in the name of my religion and my tradition want to stop somebody else from speaking.”

Mosque-Related Violence?

The same distortion of reality occurred when Abdul Mohammud killed an army recruiting officer in Little Rock, Arkansas in June, 2009. Mr. Mohammud, the killer, knew he did it as an act of jihadist terrorism, but the President’s men would have us believe it was simply “generic violence”.
