US President Donald Trump announced a two-week ceasefire with Iran on the evening of Tuesday, April 7, in Washington, DC, meaning it was due to expire on Tuesday, April 21.
Trump: “they will not have a nuclear weapon. They’ll have no access to, no chance of having, a nuclear weapon. And we can’t allow that to happen. That could be the destruction of the world, and we’re not going to let that happen,” he added.

Wednesday evening Eastern time marks the expiration of the two-week ceasefire in the war between the United States and Iran, and bombing will resume if a deal is not reached, according to reports of phone interviews with President Donald Trump.
Iran’s top negotiator, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, declared late Monday that Tehran will not negotiate with the United States “under the shadow of threats,” warning Tehran is prepared to “reveal new cards on the battlefield” as a ceasefire deadline looms and the fate of renewed talks remains uncertain.

The US president tells Fox News this is the “last chance” for Iran to agree to a peace deal.
Trump also said he won’t make “the same mistake” as former US President Barack Obama, whose administration signed a comprehensive nuclear deal with Iran in 2015.
“If Iran does not sign this deal, the whole country is getting blown up,” Trump warned.
“While the Iranians make many of these statements publicly, privately, they are very WORRIED about what is taking place.”

The blockade officially began at 10:00 a.m. Eastern time on Monday.

The Kremlin has reiterated its readiness to help Iran hand over its highly enriched uranium to Russia, which is capable of accommodating it.

That’s not Islamophobia. That’s demography.
