Sandra Solomon on the Louvre Attacker: “He Was Doing the Right Thing According to Shariah Law”

Sandra Solomon is an apostate from Islam who grew up in Saudi Arabia and now lives in Canada. Last night Vlad Tepes interviewed Ms. Solomon about the basis under the shariah for the destruction of works of art. According to Islamic Law — derived from the sayings of Mohammed — any work of art that represents animals or human beings is a form of idolatry, and is therefore haram, or forbidden. In Arabic such practices are referred to as shirk, or polytheism — the placing of entities alongside Allah as objects of worship. You and I, who patronize such art, are known as mushrikun, or polytheists.

Ms. Solomon also makes a point of reminding Muslims that if they have a painting, drawing, or photo in their houses — even a picture of their children — they are guilty of shirk, and according to Mohammed will go to hell for it:

The following clip is from a program on Egyptian television hosted by Mohamed Al-Ghiety, who is obviously not a pious or doctrinaire Muslim (it’s not clear to me whether he is considered an apostate). He discusses the recent incident involving Abdallah al-Hamamy, the Egyptian mujahid who allegedly attacked soldiers with a machete a few days ago near the Louvre. Mr. al-Hamamy’s father has been in the news in the past two days after talking to media reporters.

In this segment Mr. Al-Ghiety explains why the elder al-Hamamy can say with absolute honesty that his son could not possibly be guilty of such an attack, that he is in fact a good boy.

Canada’s Zero Tolerance for Barbaric Cultural Practices Act forbids child marriage, polygamy, and forced marriage. It is being widely derided now as “anti-Muslim,” probably by the same people who last week were telling us that such practices had nothing whatsoever to do with Islam. It has even been blamed for the Harper government’s defeat. It will probably soon be a relic of history, and immigrants can stream into Canada and practice child marriage, forced marriage, and polygamy to their heart’s content. Here again we see that to the Left, all cultures must be defended and preserved except Western Judeo-Christian ones.

Meanwhile, this Syed Hussan is openly preaching sedition. But that is apparently just fine these days as long as you’re on the Left.

Note his open Sharia supremacism and call for the conquest of Canada: “We must celebrate our way of life, what they called barbaric cultural practices on our streets and in our homes until their way of life dissipates under our feet.”

One of the speakers at the rally was Syed Hussan, who represented the organization No One Is Illegal-Toronto and is affiliated with Toronto Community Mobilization Network and Migrant Workers Alliance for Change.

MPs Wear Islamic Veils in Parliament to Promote ‘World Hijab Day’

A number of MPs donned hijabs in Westminster Hall to celebrate World Hijab Day (WHD), which normalises Islamic veiling and promotes “modest” dress.

The group, led by the SNP’s Tasmina Ahmed-Sheikh, included SNP MPs Anne McLaughlin and Patrick Grady, as well as Labour’s former shadow equalities minister Dawn Butler and MP Naseem Shah.

Organisers of WHD ask for donations on February 1st each year and encourage women of different faiths to wear a hijab in “solidarity” with Muslims under the slogan: “I stand for her right to COVER!”

Not funny.  Please note that it takes no courage to ‘stand for her right to cover’. But worldwide many women who wanted to have the right NOT TO COVER  have been severely beaten and murdered. (SY)

Australia: another imam, another child in forced marriage

Imam accused of marrying off 14-year-old girl

Another child wedding:

A girl who was allegedly sexually assaulted by a 34-year-old man she was forced to marry was just 14 at the time, a Melbourne court has heard. 

Mohammad Shakir, 34, is accused of having sex with the girl between September 30 and October 1, 2016, following their wedding, which was conducted by former imam Ibrahim Omerdic. 

The girl is in a “fragile state” and has “ongoing health issues”, prosecutor Ranjani Padmanabhan told Melbourne Magistrates Court on Friday…

Mr Omerdic, 61, imam of the Bosnian Islamic Society and Noble Park Mosque, was stood down after his November arrest and later sacked.

In January, the Board of Imams Victoria issued a statement against forced and child marriages, saying they are illegal and all Muslims are required to respect Australian law.

The pair had allegedly bought two bayonet knives earlier that day. Unable to find a bag to conceal them, the first boy was seen chucking his school books, pencil case and calculator in a bin and putting the knives in his backpack.

Gotta have priorities.

The boys’ barrister, Geoffrey Foster, said the case contained “a lot of circumstantial fluff” and content intended to “besmirch their character” and invent a “sinister plot”.

Bail was denied.

THE foreign leaders damning Donald Trump for temporarily banning visitors from seven jihad-prone countries are being made to look stupid by jihadists.

Take French socialist President Francois Hollande, who urged Europe to have a “firm response” to Trump’s decision to temporarily ban refugees — as well as travellers from Syria, Sudan, Somalia, Yemen, Iraq, Iran and Libya — while new “extreme vetting” rules were worked out.

“Withdrawal into oneself is a dead-end response,” he said.

But at the weekend, a jihadist who’d just flown in from Egypt shouted “Allahu akbar” as he lunged with a machete at a French soldier guarding the Louvre.

Louvre jihadi cites Qur’an verse promising Paradise to those who kill and are killed for Allah

“In another post on Twitter, he cited a Koranic verse that promises heaven to those who are killed fighting for the sake of God.”

It had to be this verse, because this is the only one containing the promise of Paradise to those who are killed. Note that AFP leaves out the fact that the verse promises Paradise not just to those who are killed, but to those who kill: “Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties, for that they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah, so they kill and are killed.” (9:111)

Yesterdays  jihad attack at the Louvre — to which the mujahid is said to have carried a backpack containing paint bombs — suggests that the attacker intended to damage or destroy some of the priceless works of art that are exhibited in the most renowned art museum in the world.

For those who study the Islamic theology and law, the attempt is no surprise. Islam mandates the destruction of art and other artifacts created by infidels, because they represent the jahiliyyah, the “time of ignorance” before Mohammed brought the word of Allah to his disciples.

Earlier today Vlad Tepes interviewed Dr. Bill Warner of the Center for the Study of Political Islam about the attack at the Louvre and related matters, including the Koranic basis for such acts. Dr. Warner emphasizes that Islam is waging an all-out war against war against kuffar civilization. He says, “Paint bombs are part of the civilizational war started by Mohammed 1,400 years ago.”
