Once again: there might be some moderate Muslims, but there is no moderate Islam. Only allah can sort them out. We cannot risk it.

Pauline Hanson has again called for Muslims to be banned from entering Australia and slammed the idea that ‘lone wolf’ terror attacks are carried out by people who are mentally ill.
The One Nation leader appeared on Sunrise along with fellow Senator Derryn Hinch on Monday, where they gave support to new anti-terror bills set to be introduced into Parliament this week.
‘We’ve seen that these refugees we’ve brought in are actually terrorists themselves, so let’s take a hard stance on this. We don’t know who these people are,’ she said.

‘There’s no sign saying I’m a good Muslim of I’m a bad Muslim. We have to start protecting ourselves and our country.’
Senator Hanson then reacted angrily when Sunrise presenter Natalie Barr pointed out that some recent attackers were mentally ill.

‘I don’t believe that. They are saying they have been radicalised, and that is the case. Have a look at what they’re teaching in the mosques.
‘That concerns me as well. Get tough in this country. I don’t want to see another Australian killed. What a load of rubbish.’

Senator Hanson reinforced her election pledge that banning Muslim people from migrating to Australia was the only thing that should be done.

Despite acknowledging that ‘a lot of Muslims are not terrorists’, she repeatedly made it clear that the Australian government must take a ‘hard line stance’ on the matter.

She called for the complete ban ‘because of the mess Australia is in’. The two anti-terror bills are set to be passed by the government in Parliament later this week.

On Sunday Ihsas Khan, 22, was charged at Parramatta local court with committing a terrorist attack and attempted murder after 59-year-old Wayne Greenhalg was stabbed multiple times in Minto, Sydney.

Let me share a few avoidance and misdirection tactics that we see everyday form our fellow leftists. I’m sure you will recognize all of them.

“Don’t criticize that act of Muslim discrimination because…”

· “Not all Muslims are bigots.” BUT neither are all Christians — nevertheless we find a way to stand up against bigotry on the Christian Right.

· “Islam is diverse / not monolithic.” BUT so is Christianity — and yet here we are standing up against bigotry by Christians.

.
· “Criticizing Islamic extremism will offend Muslims.” BUT the vast majority of Muslims are moderate and peaceful and therefore won’t be (or shouldn’t be) offended by criticism of bigotry on the Muslim Right. Many Muslims in the West are escaping oppression by radical Islamists. Only the bigots themselves will be offended, and it would be absurd to withhold critique of bigotry because it might hurt the feelings of the bigots.

· “Criticizing Islam and/or Muslims incites Islamophobia; there could be a violent backlash.” BUT criticism of every group runs that same risk. We can’t stop all political critique out of fear of misinterpretation. We have to be responsible in our critique, of course, but we must continue fighting against all forms of oppression despite the risks. In any case, the fact that this caution is only applied to Muslims proves that it is disingenuous anyway—another tactic for defending Muslim bigots from criticism.

· “Who are you to criticize another culture / religion?” Sensitivity to other cultures is indeed important, BUT critique from within and without are both acceptable and valuable. It would be totally unrealistic to insist that only Christians on the right are allowed to criticize the Christian Right; that only Jews are allowed to criticize Israeli policy; that only Germans are allowed to criticize Nazism; etc. While reformation comes from within, external pressure can be honest, ethical, and valuable. Any human being can stand up for human rights and speak out against discrimination, racism, and injustice. What happens when there are no champions for women’s rights in Afghanistan (because the champions have been censored or killed)? Are Afghani women destined for eternal oppression because outsiders don’t want to judge Afghani culture? That would be a shameful and disingenuous position to take.

Criticizing racism is not racist. Further, tolerance of other cultures and religions should be extremely generous, BUT only to a point: we have no obligation to tolerate intolerance. Critique, of course, must be respectful, fair, honest, and rational, rather than being mean-spirited, slanderous, hate speech. But we have no moral obligation to protect bigots from critique. And we are negligent (as reporters, intellectuals, citizens of the world) if we suppress/censor news about discrimination and violence done in the name of any ideology, culture, or religion, including radical Islam and the “Muslim Right.”

A new ISIS magazine released by its propaganda wing in charge of foreign-language outreach advises jihadists to target teens playing sports after school or even flower sellers hawking blooms on the street.

The first edition of the new magazine — Rumiyah, meaning Rome — was published in English, Turkish, German, French, Indonesian, Russian, Pashto and Uyghur. The name, of course, is symbolic of ISIS’ apocalyptic goal of the conquest of Rome.

The design of the magazine is more simple than English-language Dabiq. It’s also much shorter: 38 pages compared to the 82 pages in the last issue of Dabiq.

The new effort by ISIS’ Al-Hayat Media Center is likely an effort to reach broader audiences on a more frequent basis. The articles are similar to other ISIS material: heavily on Quranic verse yet not so much in a Western tone, like al-Qaeda’s Inspiremagazine.

In one article on the Muslim’s responsibility to shed the blood of the kafir [disbelievers],  the writers stress that “Allah did not only command the ‘fighting’ of disbelievers, as if to say He only wants us to conduct frontline operations against them. Rather, He has also ordered that they be slain wherever they may be – on or off the battlefield.”

“…All of this becomes all the more apparent for those who have realized that the blood of a kafir is cheap, filthy, and permissible to shed.”

That’s a new one. So far the police, the politicians and our execrable media always try to outdo each other in evading the “I’ and the ‘M’ word. Now we seem to be getting a little closer to the chase. 

But I predict by tomorrow the “backlash” BS comes rolling in like a steam train and the scribblers, the ABC clowns and the political harlots will crawl right back into their holes, as if nothing ever happened.  Vitrioli will have that smarmy little imam on her couch, and he will assure us that these guys are all misunderstanding their peaceful religion; that ISIL is on its last leg and blah blah….

Sydney terror attacker ‘inspired by Islamic State’

A 22-year-old man charged with a terrorist attack in south-west Sydney was inspired by the Islamic State group, NSW Police allege.

Ihsas Khan is accused of stabbing 59-year-old Wayne Greenhalg a number of times at a reserve on Olhlfsen Road at Minto on Saturday afternoon.

The victim suffered injuries to his body and hands, and remains in hospital in a serious condition.

Khan has been charged with committing a terrorist act and attempted murder.

He has appeared in Parramatta Bail Court, where he was denied bail. He is due to reappear in court next week.

“We will be alleging before court that this was an act inspired by ISIS, it was a deliberate act, it resulted in a person receiving extremely serious injuries,” NSW Deputy Police Commissioner Catherine Burns said.

Witnesses have told the ABC Mr Greenhalg ran into a nearby hair salon to flee his assailant.

Oddly enough, authorities are saying already that he was “inspired by Islamic State.” It is unlikely that we have seen the last of the ridiculous “mental illness” explanation, but it is refreshing to see Australian authorities essentially call jihad jihad. Terror on the home front.  Do you care if they are “homegrown” (Islamic) terrorists, or if they’re so-called migrants?  Its becoming more difficult for the spin-doctors to keep telling furphies about “lone wolves”, when they are part of a pack of more than 1.5 billion around the world.

Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull admits Australians face a “real threat” of terrorism on home soil after Islamic State issued a chilling call-to-arms for “lone wolves” to attack the MCG.

“Kill them wherever they are, knock on their doors and behead them, stab them, shoot them in the face or bomb them.”

The article has urged lone wolves to follow the lead of terrorist Ezzit Raad, who it claims has died fighting for IS in Syria.

“Kill them on the streets of Brunswick, Broadmeadows, Bankstown, and Bondi. Kill them at the MCG, the SCG, the Opera House, and even in their backyards,” an article published yesterday in the new English-language online periodical urged.

“Stab them, shoot them, poison them, and run them down with your vehicles.

“Kill them wherever you find them until the hollowness of their arrogance is filled with terror and they find themselves on their knees with their backs broken under the weight of regret for having waged a war against the believers, and by Allah’s will, and then through your sacrifices, this Ummah (community of Muslims) will be victorious.”

The editorial from the terrorist organisation, entitled Among The Believers Are Men, also alleged that Melbourne man Ezzit Raad, who was convicted over a plan to blow-up the Melbourne Cricket Ground in 2005, died while fighting for IS.

The editorial paid tribute to Raad, who fled Australia for Syria in 2013, where he recruited others to fight for the terrorist group.

The article shows a photo of what appears to be Raad’s body.

The article also paid tribute to Melbourne teenager Adam Dahman, also known as Abu Bakras, who carried out a suicide bombing in Iraq in 2014.

The article urged others — “those living in Australia in particular” — to follow their lead.

“Follow the path of these righteous souls because there is no other path,” it urges.

“The Khilafah [caliphate] has called for you to mobilize (sic) from your dens to alleviate the pain afflicting the hearts of the Muslims by striking the kuffar in their homelands.

“It is only from the hikmah [wisdom] of Allah that he has scattered you around the earth and in the various lands of the Crusaders to see which of you are best in deeds.

“So here before you are the doors of jihad — unhinged and in their lands. Light the ground beneath them aflame and scorch them with terror.”

What kind of law enforcement apparatus allows the close associates of a jihad murderer to mount another jihad murder plot within weeks of the first? One that refuses to acknowledge that there is a jihad threat at all, refuses to admit the existence of the motivating ideology behind these threats, and so sees each plot or attack as a discrete, isolated incident that has no connection to any other such activity. This is a direct result of the general refusal to admit that Islamic jihad is Islamic jihad.
