Doc Tareq Kamleh a sexually manipulative “fraud”, a “sleazeball” and a “creep”

We shouldn’t be surprised that Australians volunteering to fight for a homicidal, racist, sexist, bigoted and simply bat-crazy terrorist group are actually not nice people:

Australian doctor turned Islamic State recruit Tareq Kamleh was not a “ladies’ man”, but a ”two-faced sexual predator who was completely confused about his identity”, according to those who worked with him while he was an intern at several South Australian hospitals in 2010…

Kamleh reportedly claimed to have had sex with a patient at the Mannum District Hospital and to have checked the medical records of a Royal Adelaide Hospital patient who was a former sex worker and intravenous drug user before meeting her for unprotected sex.

The Australian has been told concerns were raised with the hospital administration at Mannum, 85km east of Adelaide, but no action resulted.

On Friday, Kamleh, who grew up in Perth as part of a devout Muslim family, became the latest Australian to appear in an Islamic State propaganda video, calling himself Abu Yusuf al-Australi, cradling a newborn baby and urging Muslim medical professio­n­als to join him in the Islamic State-run hospital in Raqqa in Syria.

Kamleh graduated from the University of Adelaide as a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 2010. A former colleague … described him yesterday as a sexually manipulative “fraud”, a “sleazeball” and a “creep” who regularly drank to excess, had a strong interest in shooting, and had numerous sexual relationships…

Charming jihadist:

What [Kamleh] does not list on his social media sites among photos of him surfing and hunting is a crude party trick — sneaking up behind seated women and placing his exposed penis on their shoulder.

Known as a drinking, promiscuous party boy during his time studying medicine and practising in Adelaide he is said to have showed no remorse for such actions, including one time which left a secretary in shock during an official function to farewell overseas doctors…

New York Daily News: AFDI ad criticizing Hamas is “outrageous drivel” that “would offend many Muslims”

It is no doubt guided by Society of Professional Journalists policy that requires journalists never to state or imply any link between Islam and terrorism, but for Leftist journalists (i.e., almost all of them) these days, it’s a kneejerk reaction: when they see an Islamic jihadist vowing blood and murder, they immediately frame it in their report in terms of Muslims being victimized. So when there is a jihad mass murder attack or foiled plot, we get the stories about Muslim communities fearing a “backlash” against innocent Muslims. And in this execrable New York Daily News editorial, the first and only reaction to the genocidal antisemitic statement from Hamas that is depicted in our ad is to note that “the message would offend many Muslims.”

The Daily News means they will be offended at Pamela Geller, of course, not at Hamas. They should be offended at Hamas, if what we’re constantly told about the vast majority of Muslims being moderate, democratic, tolerant and pluralistic were true.

The claim that terrorists have “legitimate concerns”, although, of course, the killing is bad.

The unchallenged vilification of Israel and its “war crimes”.

The describing of Israel as a “root cause” of Muslim terrorism.

The insistence that we will keep getting extremism unless we end our support for evil Israel.

The steering of this discussion away from Islamist threats to Australians and onto alleged Australian meanness to Muslims.

The dismissal of terrorism as “theatre”.

The repeated attacks on the government for allegedly arranging the police raids for political purposes.

The repeated claims that white racists aren’t policed as Muslims are.

The repeated complaints – by people in the audience, too – that Muslims are picked on.

The attacks on the expectation that Muslims follow “the Australian way”.

The heckling of Justice Minister Michael Keenan, with claims the timing of the raids was convenient for the Government.

The barrage of tweets attacking the Government and Islamophobia, and suggesting the police raids were a stunt.

The West created this threat by invading Iraq.

The pack attack on politicians opposing the burqa, a shroud of oppression of women.

Naturally, host Tony Jones has stacked the panel: two Muslim activists (who do most of the talking), plus one MP each from Labor, the Liberals and Greens. Jones reserves most of his hard questions for the Justice Minister, and none for the two Muslim apologists.

UN: Myanmar Stability at Risk If Rohingya Issue Not Solved

Stability in Myanmar’s most sensitive region can’t be achieved unless it addresses the issue of citizenship for minority Rohingya Muslims, the United Nations secretary-general warned its authorities Friday.

Ban Ki-moon told a delegation from the Southeast Asian country that the U.N. has seen “already troubling signs of ethnic and religious differences being exploited” as elections approach later this year.

The predominantly Buddhist nation recently emerged from a half-century of military rule, but it has been shaken by violence between Buddhists and Muslims in recent years that left at least 280 people dead and 140,000 homeless. Most of the displaced are Muslims confined to squalid camps in in the western state of Rakhine.

Most Rohingya are not citizens, and prejudice against them is high. The government calls them Bengali and generally regards them as illegal immigrants from neighboring Bangladesh, even though many were born in Myanmar.

The tensions “could be seriously destabilizing” and could jeopardize the country’s efforts to reform, Ban said.

Myanmar’s president this year declared that a system of temporary identification cards, popularly called “white cards,” for people seeking citizenship would become invalid at the end of March. That negated an earlier decision that would have allowed card holders to vote.

Ban said Friday that he recently spoke with President Thein Sein and to express his concern that the lack “swift action to regularize the status of White Card holders will be seen as institutionalized discrimination.”

The U.N. chief called the upcoming elections an important milestone in the country’s transition but stressed that they must be inclusive. He said he asked Thein Sein to take urgent action to address the identification issue before the election.

Fighting words: Do Australian jihadis have anything in common with World War I Anzacs?

It’s a dangerous idea, drawing parallels between the idealistic recruits who left Australia for Gallipoli and World War I and young jihadis leaving to fight with Islamic State in Syria and Iraq today. And potentially incendiary on Anzac Day in its centenary year.

But think for a moment. Young men, many from migrant families who came to Australia seeking a better life, going to the Middle East to fight in a war that shows their fellowship with an international brotherhood, fighting for Empire. Exploited as fodder in battle and put into unwinnable situations. The parallels have their limits but they are compelling.

McColl is out of her mind. And over at SBS, soccer reporter Scott McIntyre believes Australia shares responsibility for the largest single-day terrorist attacks in history:

Not forgetting that the largest single-day terrorist attacks in history were committed by this nation & their allies in Hiroshima & Nagasaki

Even SBS’s managing director isn’t prepared to cop that.

Muslims follow their religious obligation to make the world Islamic.

Abu Ala Maududi, the founder of Jamaat-e-Islami, puts it this way in his book, Jihad in Islam:

“Islam is not a normal religion like the other religions in the world, and Muslim nations are not like normal nations. Muslim nations are very special because they have a command from Allah to rule the entire world and to be over every nation in the world. Islam is a revolutionary faith that comes to destroy any government made by man. Islam doesn’t look for a nation to be in better condition than another nation. Islam doesn’t care about land or who owns the land. The goal of Islam is to rule the entire world and submit all of mankind to the faith of Islam. Any nation or power in this world that tries to get in the way of that goal Islam will fight and destroy. In order for Islam to fulfill that goal, Islam can use every power available every way it can be used to bring worldwide revolution. This is jihad.”

The point is not prosodic, but that this doctor’s views, apparently, were well hidden from view. And if his best friends were amazed at what they saw as his sudden metamorphosis — he’s in Raqqa now, urging others to join him — how can the security services possibly know what Muslims are thinking, including those we think, because they do not go off to the Islamic State, or display the Black Flag of Islam, must surely be “moderate” — and what, for god’s sake, does that word “moderate” mean? Does it mean that they don’t take Islam fully to heart? Is that what a “moderate” Muslim is — someone who is not completely a Muslim, whcih shows that we understood that the full message of Islam is dangerous? And if we understand that, and we also know that there is no permanent barrier between the “moderate” Muslim and the real, or full, or immoderate one, so that any “moderate” can become, for any number of reasons, a direct threat, why should we not regard the “moderate” Muslims as themselves a danger, forming the  inland sea in the Western world, in which the immoderates can swim?

You never, never know which one is going to suddenly “Go Jihad”. At least this one left the country and went off to Syria where with any luck he will encounter a Shiite or an Alawite bullet or bomb, ensuring that he never comes back. But: he was a doctor, in Australia. Working in hospitals. And, presumably, harbouring hatred in his heart,all the time, toward the filthy kuffar all around him. A Muslim doctor or theatre nurse or nurse in an infidel-country hospital terrifies me; because what if they decide, in a small and sneaky sort of way, to wage their jihad right there…to cause pain, to cause fear, to do a million and one small things that increase the chance of harm, of infection, of a misdiagnosis, of death?
