Russian Council of Muftis: Don’t refer to Islamic State as Islamic

Go back to sleep, kafir! Listen to what the Muslims are telling you and you’ll be safe…

(If you listen to these taqiyya spinmeisters long enough, they’ll tell you that Islam itself is unislamic right before they cut your head off.)
“Abbyasov said that the militants had taken elements of the Koran out of context.” We hear this endlessly; yet when have you ever heard a Muslim explain the proper context that renders the Qur’an’s violent verses benign? The most they say in the West is that these verses apply to long bygone days — a manifestly inadequate explanation, since it contradicts the express teachings of Muslim scholars beginning with Muhammad’s first biographer, Ibn Ishaq, who argue that the violent verses actually supersede and take precedence over the peaceful ones.

Abbyasov also “recalled that a group of over 120 Muslim scholars had released an open letter to IS militants and followers recently.” Indeed. It was a skillful piece, but ultimately deceptive, not dealing with the real justifications Islamic jihadists use to make recruits among peaceful Muslims — as I explained here and here.

So essentially Abbyasov is, like so many other Muslim spokesmen, demanding that non-Muslims not note the Islamic character of the Islamic State — which will make it all the harder to counter it. He is not saying anything that will actually make any Muslims who support the Islamic State change their minds.

Ongoing reports decrying “anti-Muslim” Buddhists seem to miss the point: this antipathy did not appear out of thin air but rather in response to Islamic aggression—the same Islamic aggression the rest of the world is trying to cope with.

A Financial Times editorial titled “Buddhist militancy triggers international concern” opens by describing the “traumatic first-hand view” of a Muslim woman whose home was attacked and possessions plundered by Buddhists in Sri Lanka.   Says the woman: “If I could meet those responsible, I would ask: ‘Sir, does your Lord Buddha teach this?’”

Some paragraphs down, readers discover that her home was attacked during the course of “two days of clashes with Muslims,” which were “sparked by a street-corner disagreement between a Buddhist monk and a young Muslim,” and which left three people—religious identity unstated—dead.

Fifteen years from now, Pew found, America will “have a larger number of Muslims than any European country” except for France and Russia.

Muslims do not migrate to West for “a better life”. They certainly don’t migrate to become Australians, or Americans or Europeans. Muslims migrate to make the world Islamic.

Westminster City Council is still paying the rent on the family’s £600,000 flat even though the rules say housing benefit should normally be stopped after 13 weeks.

CNN Keeps Up With The Sentimental And Pleasing Lie About That Synagogue In Norway

Look at the photograph that heads an article that attempts to “put into perspective” well-justified alarm about antisemitic attacks and attitudes in Europe, which rise pari passu with the rise in the Muslim population — it’s a false photograph, because it shows a handful of Musliims holding hands, outside that synagogue in Norway, which hand-holding by three dozen or so Muslims (most of them apparently Kurds, many wearing identifiably Kurdish dress — and the Kurds have their own reasons for seeing a similarity between Israel and Kurdistan) was first reported as “a crowd of about 1,000 Muslims” until the hopeful story, so pleasing to so many who want to believe that Everything Will Be Okay,  was exposed as a fabrication. But apparently CNN thinks it can continue to ignore that, and to publish, as it does here, a photograph that continues to mislead, just as it continues to refer to the “1,000 people,” “most of them Muslims,” who were surrounding that synagogue in Norway. Can’t CNN ever admit it was wrong? Can’t it at least take a look at the reports by Agence France Presse and others correcting the initial, and false reports, by CNN and others? What gives CNN the right to publish such a misleading photograph more than a week after the initial reports were corrected by others? Will this be looked into by anyone at CNN? Or by any other journalists, trying to discover why stories that either show Muslims as victims of anti-Muslim hostility (that attempt to portray what was clearly a semi–demented man’s murderous lapsus in Chapel HIll into a “hate crime”) or as noble embodiments of decency, standing up to Protect the Jews (as that Ring of Protection by “1,000 Musliims” in Norway), have a long life, live on long after they have been exposed and exposed again? Surely this is worth study and discussion.

The Mayor of London said he was “astonished” to be attacked by the MCB.
