Britain’s first female Muslim members of parliament celebrated after winning seats in the general election.

Rushanara Ali, the first person of Bangladeshi origin to be elected to the British parliament, stood for Prime Minister Gordon Brown’s Labour Party. She won the east London seat of Bethnal Green and Bow with a comfortable majority.

Credentials: Labour, Islam, RESPECT, Yuman Rites, etc…..

‘To millions of Bangladeshis around the world, it will mean so much to them that somebody of their background has been elected to the mother of all parliaments,’ said the 35-year-old, who was born in Sylhet and moved to east London when she was seven.

East London is the heart of the Bangladeshi community in Britain. Some street signs around the Brick Lane area are written in English and Bengali.

Labour’s Shabana Mahmood and Yasmin Qureshi also feted being among the first wave of Muslim women ever elected to the House of Commons.

Mahmood won the seat of Birmingham Ladywood in Britain’s second city. The constituency has the highest percentage claiming unemployment benefits in Britain.

Shabana Mahmood was born and bred in Birmingham. She studied at Oxford University, then became a lawyer.

She described her victory as ‘a real breakthrough’.

‘I think it sends a powerful message… Parliament should reflect the people it represents.’

Yasmin Qureshi, 46, a Pakistani-born lawyer, moved to Britain when she was nine. She was elected in Bolton, northwest England.

‘I’m absolutely delighted. Obviously, I am very pleased the voters of Bolton South East chose a Labour candidate and elected a Labour MP.

‘It is a truly humbling experience and I promise to work very hard for the constituents.’

Court transcripts show that Fethullah Gulen and his vast empire of radical madrassahs (religious schools) which stretch from coast to coast is supported by the Central Intelligence Agency and the U.S. State Department.

This evidence came to light during the proceedings in the Eastern District Court in Philadelphia where Gulen applied for permanent resident alien status.

His application was accompanied by a letters of endorsement from former CIA Deputy Director Graham Fuller, former Under Secretary of State Marc Grossman, and former Ambassador to Turkey Morton Abramowitz.

The letters are telling and show that Osama bin Laden’s hope for a universal caliphate ruled by sharia (Islamic law) is not an idle pipedream.

The dream is becoming a reality in Turkey – – thanks to Gulen, who remains sheltered in the U.S.A, and operates with the blessings of the Obama Administration.

Is this the thinking of the Secretary of State of the United States? That the reason peace is possible is because “it has to happen??”

This sounds like the thinking of an abused woman who married her abuser because, after all, he has to change.

A Tea Party rally in Greenville, South Carolina over the weekend took some of the Tea Party’s violent rhetoric (?) to new levels, with speakers attacking everything from President Obama’s citizenship to Sen. Lindsey Graham’s sexuality.

The event was hosted by the Upcountry Conservative Coalition, a local South Carolina conservative group that describes its mission statement as:

We the People…are coalescing to reclaim our God given rights by restoring our Constitutional Republic.

The event took place at the Bi-Lo Center in Greenville, and featured former Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-CO) as its keynote speaker. Tancredo, who ran for the Republican presidential nomination in 2008, said that Americans are “going to have to pray that we can hold on to this country.”

He added, referring to President Obama: “If his wife says Kenya is his homeland, why don’t we just send him back?”

Pastor Stan Craig, of the Choice Hills Baptist Church, was particularly angry about the state of Washington, saying he “was trained to defend the liberties of this nation.” He declared that he was prepared to “suit up, get my gun, go to Washington, and do what they trained me to do.”  More from TPM

After surrendering the demand for stiff UN sanctions on Iran, the Obama Regime has renegged on the longstanding American commitment of assuring Israel of recognized and defensible borders by omitting the word “defensible.”

In the administration’s message of congratulations to Israel on its 62nd Day of Independence, US Secretary of state Hillary Clinton mentions “recognized borders” while omitting the traditional “defensible.”


“I have a deep personal commitment to  (destroy) Israel,” Clinton said. “And so does President Obama. Our nation will not waver in protecting Israel’s security and promotingIsrael’s future (under Islam). That is why pursuing peace and recognized borders for Israel is one of our top priorities.”

The Wall Street Journal almost gets it right. After the recent flap over Jewish settlements north of Jerusalem, concern is growing that the U.S. wants Israel to return to its pre-1967 borders. At their narrowest, those borders give Israel a nine-mile margin between the West Bank and the Mediterranean Sea. In what is being called ‘the biggest hustle in human history,’ a special investigation has discovered numerous bogus claims on Barack Obama’s resume, including the outright lie that he was a ‘Constitutional scholar and professor.’

The claim turns out to be false.

According to a special report issued by ‘the Blogging Professor,’ the Chicago Law School faculty hated Obama.  The report states that Obama was unqualified, that he was never a ‘constitutional professor and scholar,’ and that he never served as editor of the Harvard Law Review while a student at the school.

The real truth is that Barack Obama was merely an ‘instructor’ at Chicago Law School, not a professor.  Commonly, instructors are non-tenure-track teachers hired by colleges and universities to teach certain courses for a salary that is well below that of Associate Professors or full Professors.

In the hierarchy of higher education, the status of instructors is below that of associate professors and professors because they lack the credentials.

In fact, it can be safely concluded that the claims of Barack Obama concerning his educational credentials and work history in higher education are a complete sham.  The President of the United States is a complete fraud.

Former New York Mayor Ed Koch expressed disappointment in President Obama on Thursday for his treatment of Israel after it announced it would continue construction in East Jerusalem – the section of the holy city claimed by the Palestinians.”I have been a supporter of President Obama and went to Florida for him, urged Jews all over the country to vote for him saying that he would be just as good as John McCain on the security of Israel. I don’t think it’s true anymore,” Koch told Fox News’ Neil Cavuto….
