OIC launching BLITZKRIEG  to fight “Islamophobia”

The OIC Secretary General, Ekmeleddin İhsanoğlu,  highlighted Islamophobia as one of the most pressing issues that needs to be tackled by the OIC. He said that Islamophobia is fuelled by a misconceptions about Islam and Muslims and incites hatred and discrimination against them on religious and ethnic grounds.

The largest platform representing Muslim countries has agreed to launch an aggressive media campaign with the purpose of raising awareness of anti-Muslim hate movements in the world, while keeping tabs on the problems that are being faced by Muslim citizens in Western and Asian countries.

As this story notes, he stated in his perfunctory apology that “Osama bin Laden is a bad man. I hate terrorism and will have nothing to do with this again.”

That is what he said to try and get a reduced sentence (which, unfortunately, he did), after trying to kill — and fully believing at the time that he was in the process of killing — up to 2000 people inside a 60-story glass skyscraper, not to mention everyone in the path of the blast and shrapnel. And of course, that statement came after he got caught. That tends to make people really, really sorry.

On Monday, the judge hearing Omar Khadr’s murder trial in Guantanamo Bay ruled that Khadr’s taped confessions can be admitted at trial.

Canada’s little terrorist is as good as done.

But what remains to be seen is whether the liberal media will save the myth of Omar Khadr — the myth they have painstakingly built in collusion with Khadr’s lawyers.

I predict that the Khadr in the two pictures here, photographed in front of an AK-47, and then assembling IEDs to use against NATO troops in Afghanistan, will be locked up for a very long time:

It’s not just the special Muslim food; the Muslim call to prayer sounds five times a day at Guantanamo Bay, and arrows point to Mecca to show prisoners where to pray. Khadr knows better: He aims his prayers to Canada’s liberal press.

Trial starts for Guantanamo’s youngest detainee

Jury selection for the trial of Guantanamo’s youngest detainee, Canadian Omar Khadr, began Wednesday, with the former child combatant becoming the first to face a military tribunal under President Barack Obama.

At the start of Tuesday’s court proceedings, an official read out five charges against Khadr, including murder, espionage and material support for terrorism.

Radhika Coomaraswamy, UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon’s special representative for children and armed conflict, slammed the trial, insisting that “children should not be tried before military tribunals”. (RFI-Islamization Watch)
