In the USA politicians are now using ‘other’ words to describe Muslim terrorism, because they do not wish to upset Islamicists. So, they invent ways to describe Muslim terrorism without mentioning either!And, in turn, Islamicists are pretending jihad does not mean violence and is not part of their religion anway. Yeah, right.
Why, then, did the late Ayatollah Khomeini say “Islam makes it incumbent on all adult males… to prepare themselves for the conquest of (other) countries, so that the writ of Islam is obeyed in every country in the world… There are hundreds of other (Qur’anic) psalms and Hadiths (sayings of Mohammed) urging Muslims to value war and to fight. Does all this mean that Islam is a religion that prevents men from waging war? I spit upon those foolish souls who make such a claim.”
The reason wny Islamicists want to keep their true aims quiet is that they think the time is not yet right for them to take over certain countries. In the UK, Muslims say that once they gain the ascendency, they wil bring in strict Muslim law.
Imran Ahsan Khan Nyazee, is assistant professor of the faculty of Shar’iah and law, at the International Islamic University, Islamabad. What’s he say about jihad in a 1994 book? “The primary goal of the Muslim community… is to spread the word of Allah through jihad, and the option of poll-tax (Ed. An involuntary tax paid by those who do not wish to convert to Islam. Refusal brings death), is to be exercised only after subjugation (of non-Muslims).” That, to me, is clear enough.

Jihad is the Muhammedan Imperative
An Islamic scholar who died in 1328, Ibn Taymiyya, is very up-to-date in his thinking: “Lawful warfare is essentially jihad… according to all Muslims, those who stand in the way of this aim (Ed. to convert) must be fought.” This teacher is a favourite of Osama bin Laden and others who advocate jihad.
A more modern Muslim, Majid Khadduri (died 2007), internationally known as a scholar of Islamic law, said in his 1955 book, ‘War and Peace in the Law of Islam’: “The Islamic state, whose principal function was to put God’s law into practice, sought to establish Islam as the dominant ideology over the entire world… The jihad was therefore employed as an instrument for both the universalization of religion and the establishment of an imperial world state.”
The idea of jihad, violence, take-over, poll-taxing those who will not convert, or killing them, is in the Koran. That is why Islamic scholars say what they say. Yet, Muslims in the West pretend to get very upset when we merely repeat what their own holy book and teachers say!
Muslims want to destroy Israel and Israeli’s. And they want to spread Islam to the whole world. The more they gain in numbers in any country the more violent they become. They want worldwide Islam, whether by persuasion, violence, or poll-tax. That is why governments must be very careful what they allow. Once Islam goes beyond persuasion through the free speech they want denied to others, they must be censured. Be friendly and open, but there is every reason to be wary.

Yes, the word “jihad” has several, including some peaceful, meanings – but that doesn’t change the fact that most authoritative Islamic texts and systems of jurisprudence maintain that its primary meaning is “warfare to subjugate the world to Islam.” Closely allied with this predominant concept of jihad is the threefold choice given to infidels: conversion, submission and tribute or death. And it is simply a fact that jihad, as taught by Sunni Islam’s four schools of jurisprudence, is either a war to defend Muslims or to impose Islam on non-Muslims.
It may be uncomfortable to admit these facts – and doing so may run certain risks. But it is true, and the costs of ignoring reality are far higher than the benefits of glossing over it….
