* Tim Blair responds to Yusuf Irfan’s latest episode of ‘Yusuf rubs it’- while we can sit back and watch our resident sharia advocate become increasingly unhinged.
                         Â
* Oh the Islamophobia! The racist rednecks! Filthy kuffars! These Aussie fruit-loops and sicko’s! If only we could shine the light of Islam on them! If not with terror, how can we ever whack them into submission? If this was an Islamic state, I would be a kadi and have them all stoned, or flogged, or hanged!
Yusuf’s latest exploits from the Sydney Moonbat Herald:
“Heritage was mixed a long time ago”
Yusuf’s stand alone ‘apology’ in the New Zealand Herald to Dr Daniel Pipes:
* An earlier version of this article wrongly said US columnist Daniel Pipes had argued that Europe’s next Holocaust victims would be Muslim migrants and they deserved such slaughter. The author, Irfan Yusuf, and the Herald accept that Mr Pipes has never predicted nor has he ever endorsed a Holocaust of European Muslims and they unreservedly apologise to him for the errors.

An opinion article published last month wrongly said US columnist Daniel Pipes had argued that Europe’s next Holocaust victims would be Muslim migrants and they deserved such slaughter.
The author, Irfan Yusuf, and the Herald accept that Mr Pipes has never predicted nor has he ever endorsed a Holocaust of European Muslims and they unreservedly apologise to him for the errors.
Â
‘Errors?’ A deliberate,  smear-job, a vile act of slander and defamation is just an ‘error?’
The New Zealand Herald should have pulled his soapbox out from under him right there and then. Why allow him to peddle his BS propaganda in the first place?
”Heritage was mixed a long time ago”
As you read this, chances are that your Muslim neighbours and colleagues and classmates will be celebrating the Feast of Eid al-Fitr, a chance to resume eating, drinking, smoking to their heart’s delight. All this was forbidden to them between dawn and dusk of the previous 30-odd days of Ramadan.
* Who cares?/ed)
For me, this will mean returning to satanic (at least when played backwards) heavy metal music on my iPod. Those delightful chaps from AC/DC will once again be “knockin’ me out” with “American thighs”, while Jon Bon Jovi will remind me of how “I’m wanted dead or alive”.
I will also return to one of my favourite pastimes: blogging. The blogosphere, like the real world, has no shortage of people wanting my type more dead than alive. Recently one anonymous reader posted these reflections on my blog: “How many Islamo-fatsh-ts can you fit in an ashtray? None. Ashtrays are for Jews … How many Islamo-fatsh-ts can fit on the point of a bullet? I don’t know we’re still doing the experiments … The only place to find Muslims will be the ‘is lamb’ in butcher shops.”
Yes, happy Eid to you, too.
I don’t have the time or resources to moderate blog comments as I go. Better-resourced bloggers such as Tim Blair moderate comments before allowing them to be published. Blair’s old blog (the one he maintained before he was hosted by the The Daily Telegraph) had comments about Muslim cabbies making “a reasonable decent compost” or who might be used for “road construction, mix 12 parts Islam with 20 parts hot asphalt”. At one stage, Blair’s Saturday columns in the The Daily Telegraph invited readers to “join the debate”, advertising the blog’s address.
His editor, David Penberthy, told ABC-TV’s Media Watch last year such views survived moderation on the newspaper’s blogs because they “are held by many Australians, especially in Sydney. They’re not the kind of things you’d say at an ABC dinner party or at your ALP preselection but they are commonly held views.”
In Camden, they don’t even want the reasonably decent Muslim compost. (Very few places -if any- in Australia want Muslim anything, let alone compost/ed) There, the Herald recently reported, a small group of residents is determined to prove Bon Jovi wrong. If your children speak “Islamic” then you’re not wanted in Camden – dead or alive.
What really upsets me is that these residents (and their supporters such as Fred Nile) are undermining our Christian heritage. (‘Our Christian heritage’ is not yours, Yusuf!/ed) During the debate over the Muslim school application, Nile reminded Camden residents that Australia must remain Christian. This meant people who looked and dressed too much like Jesus and his mum were unwelcome. (Muslims don’t ‘look like Jesus and his mum’, Yusuf. They look like Muhammad and Aisha. They bring with them a lot of mummenschantz, hatred of infidels, polygamy, FGM, misogyny and a mental baggage that makes them a nightmare to themselves and the host society. Add to this the inevitable terror if the Muslim society becomes entrenched and grows/ed)
One Camden resident, Len English, seemed to suggest burying dead Muslims might compromise the heritage value of a cemetery where burials were first recorded in 1839. “I’ve got nothing against migrants but when they want to take over your cemetery …” he told the Herald.
Len English could do with a lesson in Australia’s non-English heritage. Melbourne historian Bilal Cleland’s 2002 book The Muslims In Australia: A Brief History mentions John Hassan, a crewman of the colonial-built ship Endeavour which left Port Jackson in 1795 but was scuttled off New Zealand. Cleland, whose Irish and English convict ancestors arrived on the First and Third Fleets, writes of “at least eight convicts who arrived in Australia after 1813” of “Arab or or part-Arab” heritage. (Shall we take a closer look and find out how much of this ‘Muslim historians’ history is cooked?/ed)
“Evidence was given before an Immigration Committee in 1838 that over 100 settlers had organised for 1203 Indian [including Muslim] labourers to be brought in, and between 1837 and 1844 about 500 did arrive.”
Writing for the Crikey website last December, the Australian National University sociologist Shakira Hussein mentions her step-step-grandmother, who was part of a Sufi Muslim group led by a German chap Baron Frederick Elliot von Frankenberg. He founded a Sufi movement in Camden during the 1930s. (Another fairy tale?/ed)
The Baron is buried in a Camden cemetery, and the Camden Advertiser published a photograph of his grave in May. I hope white supremacists from outside Camden don’t drape his grave with a pig’s head and an Australian flag.Â

Update from the excellent Islam Monitor

![]() ![]() Now we continue to hear of similar expectations from Muslim leaders and scholars. Rightly so, given that the rather subdued success of Jihadis this Ramadan claimed 903 lives with 1638 people maimed or injured across 16 countries, according to a tracking by Religion of Peace website. Â
Mr Yusuf Irfan, an acclaimed Sydney-based lawyer and Islamist columnist, in an article entitledAnother attack – in the name of whose Islam, slammed the latest suicide attack at Islamabad’s Marriott Hotel that killed at least 60 and injured hundreds, saying:
Mr Yusuf also slammed the poor understanding of Islam amongst modern Muslim theologians and al-Qaeda ideologues (bin Likewise, Professor Muqtedar Khan of University of Delaware (New Jersey), in condemning the violence by radical Islamists during the ongoing month of Ramadan, said: “Ramadan is about returning to the fountain of truth and drinking from it as deeply as possible.” He added:
A historical and theological investigation, however, proves that it is self-proclaimed scholars like Prof Khan and Mr Yusuf, who are ignorant; not those whom they accuse of the same. Yes Mr Yusuf, you are correct. The pre-Islamic Arabs, whom Islam has relegated to the barbarian age of Jahiliyah [ignorance], deemed certain months of the year sacred and they scrupulously abstained from violence during those months. It is Muhammad, with sanctions from Allah, repudiated this well-evolved civilized Arab tradition of nonviolence. Not only that, Prophet Muhammad chose the sacred months for waging his violent holy wars against the infidels of Arabia—a tradition perpetuated by Muslims to the present day. And rightly so! The Prophet’s actions, Muslims believe, constitute the standard for all times. ![]()  The Ramadan Victory at Badr
As Jihad or holy war was sanctioned by Allah [Quran Next, a couple of months later came the month of Ramadan, the first to be celebrated as the Muslim holy month of fasting. Prophet Muhammad, hearing the news of a rich Meccan caravan returning from Syria, launched Islam’s most significant Jihad expedition to plunder it. This led to the famous Battle of Badr with a Meccan rescue army, three times stronger, in which, the Muslim army became victorious. This Ramadan victory at Badr, as every Muslim knows, was the most significant in the history of Islam. Muslim confidence was boosted as they assumed that God was helping them winning the impossible battles, to which, Allah revealed that He was indeed helping each Muslim fighter with 20 angels in the battle. This not only marked the unbridled march of Jihad over the centuries since, but the month of Ramadan also became the auspicious time for waging the most significant Jihad expeditions. The Prophet’s greatest victory, the conquest of Mecca and capture of the Ka’ba (then a Pagan temple), came in Ramadan (630 CE).
It was in Ramadan that the Muslims of the subcontinent inaugurated the violent Jihadi quest for dividing India to create Pakistan. Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the leader of the Muslim League Party, washing his hands off any negotiation for keeping India united, reached a resolution in the Muslim League meeting in Bombay on 29 July 1946 that:
Calcutta, where Muslims constituted one-third of the population (similar proportion at Badr), was chosen as the venue for unleashing the Direct Action. The date chosen was the 18th day of Ramadan (16 August 1946), coinciding with the day of Badr. Secret pamphlets, circulated amongst Muslims by the Muslim League (also read out in mosque sermons), read:
In the Direct Action Jihad at Calcutta, Muslim unleashed—with the connivance of the police under the direction of the Muslim League government in power – brutal massacre, pillage, plunder, rape and arson of the Hindus and Sikhs. After suffering one-and-a-half days of brutal savagery, the Hindus and Sikhs recovered from the shock and plucking courage, hit back, outnumbering the Muslims and paying back in like manners. Five days of continued violence racked up some 5,000 dead-bodies with 43% Muslim casualties. The whole outcome of this Jihad for creating Pakistan, inaugurated in the holy month of Ramadan, was up to two million deaths (roughly equal on both sides), a few million Hindus and Sikhs converted to Islam at the pain of death, and tens of thousand of predominantly Hindu and Sikh women were raped or abducted and married off to Muslims. Some twenty million people were to cross borders leaving every thing behind.
Â
![]() The Calcutta MassacreÂ
Creation of Pakistan, a pure land for the Muslims, was probably the greatest 20th-century achievement for the Muslim ummah. Jihad did not go in vein.Â
These were but a few examples of famous Jihads waged in the holy month of Ramadan. I wonder who need to go to school to consolidate their knowledge of the resplendent Islam, of Jihad in the holy month of Ramadan in particular. Should it be Irfan Yusuf and Prof. Muqtedar Khan, the self-proclaimed scholar of Islam, or those whom they criticize? And Mr Yusuf, Another attack – in the name of whose Islam? Undoubtedly, it is in the name of Allah’s Islam; Quran’s Islam; Prophet’s Islam. |
Sounds like you have a real boner for this Irf guy.
Sure thing, buddy.
But I just want him stripped of citizenship and deported. Just like you.
In fact I think its obvious that you and Irfan are hatched from the same egg.
Just keep on rubbing it!
