In  1978-9 I was living and studying in Denmark. But in 1978 – even  in Copenhagen, one didn’t  see Muslim immigrants. 

The Danish population  embraced visitors, celebrated the exotic, went  out of  its way to protect each of its citizens. It was proud of its  new brand of socialist  liberalism one in development since the conservatives  had lost power in 1929 – a  system where no worker had to struggle to survive, where one ultimately could  count upon the state as in, perhaps, no other  western nation at the  time.

Clinton pledges to press for Palestinian state       

 JERUSALEM (Reuters) – U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton pledged on Tuesday to press hard for Palestinian statehood, putting Washington on a possible collision course with Israeli Prime Minister-designate Benjamin Netanyahu.

“We happen to believe that moving toward a two-state solution is in Israel’s best interests,” Clinton told a news conference with Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni.

Translation: We believe that Zyklon B is in the Jews’ best interest.

At Jihad Watch, Hugh Fitzgerald has a great comment (written on Sunday) about yesterday’s massive giveaway of billions of infidel dollars for Gaza (Hat Tip: Jawa Report).

Why not withhold Western, Infidel aid, and ask the Gazan Arabs, and the Jordanians, and the Egyptians, and the Pakistanis, tutti quanti, to go ask for aid from the fabulously rich Saudis and other Arabs of the Gulf, in the U.A.E., in Kuwait, in Qatar? If they turn their fellow members of the Umma down, that will cause division, and possibly worse. If they do not turn them down, whatever they offer will be taken, but with the feeling that “the rich Arabs” can still do more, and more and more. Whether the aid is forthcoming or not, it will help to foster divisions and resentments among the Arabs, and even by the poorer non-Arab Muslims (as in Pakistan) against the rich Arabs. These kinds of resentments and divisions are useful to Infidels.

Last week, nine members of the AmericanAcademy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences arrived for a visit in Iran, with the aim of meeting with Iranian filmmakers. The group, which included Sid Ganis, Annette Bening, William Horberg, Frank Pierson, Alfre Woodard, Ellen Harrington, James Longley, Tom Pollock, and Phil Robinson, met in Tehran with Iranian filmmakers for seminars on directing, screenwriting, and acting.

In Response to Visit, Iran Calls for Apology from Hollywood for Three Decades of Insult to Iran

In response to the visit, Javad Shamaghdari, art advisor to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, called on senior Iranian filmmakers not to meet with the Hollywood group, until they apologized for insulting the Iranian people and the Islamic Revolution and for issuing lies in films such as “300,” “Not Without My Daughter,” and, recently, “The Wrestler.” He said, “Cinema officials will only have the right to have official sessions with… Hollywood movie makers when [the latter] apologize to the Iranians for their 30 years of insults and slanders.” He added that Iran would believe U.S. President Barack Obama’s promise of change if it was expressed in an official apology from Hollywood.

JERUSALEM – Sections of Jerusalem have essentially been forfeited on the ground to the Palestinian Authority, while Jews, including local landowners, are barred from entering parts of Israel’s capital, a WND investigation has found.

The probe further determined the U.S. has been aiding the Palestinians in developing infrastructure in Jerusalem.

Also, it has emerged, the Israeli government has failed to stop Arabs from illegally building thousands of housing projects on Jerusalem land purchased and owned by a U.S. Jewish group for the express purpose of Jewish settlement, culminating in an Arab majority in the neighborhoods.

The situation has been unfolding in the northern Jerusalem neighborhoods of Kfar Akeb, Qalandiya and Samir Amis, which are close to the Jewish neighborhoods of Neve Yaacov and Pisgat Zeev in Israel’s capital. Kfar Akeb, Qalandiya and Samir Amis are located entirely within the Jerusalem municipality.
