Conservative talk-radio hosts such as Dr. Savage have been so effective in rallying public outcry against many aspects of the liberal agenda that Democrat politicians have increasingly called for a return to the “Fairness Doctrine,” Orwellian- speak for censorship.

Thompson commented, “If the Doctrine is so fair, why are the liberals limiting it only to radio?  Why not television, the internet, and all the print media?

In fact, recent history reveals that US Presidents are synonymous with monkeys. The Guardian‘s Steve Bell spent most of George W. Bush’s two terms portaying him as an ape – which, incidentally, the Post‘s cartoon doesn’t do to Obama.

“Grieving Imam shocked and outraged” over linking honor killing with Islam

* Actually the imam is mostly outraged over kuffars who are connecting the dots:

We’re all grieving,” said Mangera, imam of the Islamic Society of the Niagara Frontier. “To compound that, we have to face the difficulty of the religion of Islam being blamed for [the killer’s] personal actions. It was an individual person who did this act, for whatever reason. We don’t find any justification in the Islamic religion for any such violence.”

Mangera was upset about suggestions that Muslim attitudes, especially toward women, have been blamed for the Hassan killing.

* Clueless Police Chief buys it:

“The people that I’ve talked to have said killing your wife or beheading anyone is not condoned in the Islamic faith,” Orchard Park Police Chief Andrew Benz said Tuesday. “I haven’t found anyone to say it’s all right to do that under any circumstances. But it’s something we have to investigate.”

At a weekend meeting in Istanbul, 200 religious scholars and clerics met with senior Hamas officials to plot a new jihad centred on Gaza.

The BBC’s Bill Law was the only Western journalist at the meeting.

In a hall crowded with conservative Sunni Muslim sheikhs and scholars, in a hotel close to Istanbul’s Ataturk Airport speaker after speaker called for jihad against Israel in support of Hamas.

The choice of Turkey was significant. Arab hardliners were keen to put aside historic differences with the Turks.

As one organiser put it: “During the past 100 years relations have been strained but Palestine has brought us together.”

None of it is in his Newsweek article, co-written by plagiarist Michael Isikoff. Atlas readers know Isikoff – he is the Newsweek journalist who stole all of my investigative work on Obama’s campaign finance fraud and never credited me – not once.

Note the implication: “inflammatory anti-Islamic views” are just fine with “some notable conservatives.” The possibility that what Wilders has said is accurate, and that it is only characterized as inflammatory by those who want to silence free discussion of the motives and goals of jihad terrorists, doesn’t enter the minds of Hosenball and Isikoff.
