India: Women told to forget freedom, "follow rules" to prevent sexual harassment

A group of village elders in Baghpat district of Uttar Pradesh has released some new rules to ensure that women stay safe. The only loss they’ll suffer is individual freedom:

The village elders, known as a khap panchayat, took the actions, they said, to prevent sexual harassment. The result, of course, is to punish women pre-emptively by restricting their liberties in the name of protecting them from men who cannot be trusted to restrain themselves.

The Uttar Pradesh government said that the panchayat has no legal authority to enforce such rules, and that people should report attempts to do so. When the police tried to step in, a crowd of people beat them up.

“Golden Era” as in golden age of destruction, mass-murder, slavery and torture. Note that their plan for “a better  India & a better society” also includes the abolishment of Bollywood, something that should turn at least a few Muslims against these obsessed lunatics. The website splashes a slideshow depicting Fatwa against Indian political parties, with pictures of Manmohan Singh, LK Advani, Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi displayed on the front page, ostensibly their prime targets. A war cry has been issued calling for the axe to be laid on Bollywood in 2012. The slide show ends with a ‘beheaded’ statue of Lord Shiva, with the warning: Islamic destruction of Indian idols and statues. The website also refers to Father of Indian nation Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi as tyrant Mohandas Gandhi.

India: 'Love jihad' used in Islamic takeover

Aggressive conversion efforts by Muslims in a prominent region of India are being described as a “love jihad” with a little bribery thrown in.

A new report by a New Delhi, India-based think tank says that Kerala state’s Muslim minority is getting ready for a power grab in India’s southern-most state.

And one way they’re planning on capturing control is through what International Christian Concern’s Jonathan Racho calls “love jihad.”

“The Muslim man will deliberately seduce a Christian or a Hindu girl. Once they have a relationship and the man marries the girl and they have children, the man forcibly converts the woman to Islam,” Racho explained.

“Then the children are raised as Muslim children. In this way the Muslims believe they will be the majority of the population in Kerala in another 20 years,” he said.

Racho said the Muslims also are resorting to bribery.

“They’re dumping millions of dollars in Kerala and they’re getting the money mostly from the Gulf States and Saudi Arabia. They’re really bribing people to get them to convert to Islam,” Racho observed.

Apologists will be quick to say the aspects of the story that are coming out now are “un-Islamic.” But Islamic law, along with its many inherent defects, creates broader conditions for exploitation and abuse. (JTA) — Chabad House was the target of last month’s bomb attack on a bakery in India, a government official said.

The Indian state of Maharashtra’s Chief Minister Ashok Chavan told the Indian Legislative Assembly Monday that the target of the attackers was the Pune Chabad House, located several yards from the German Bakery.

Chavan said the bakery was targeted after the attackers discovered that Chabad was well protected by state police, according to the Press Trust of India.

“There was adequate security near the Chabad House,” he told the Assembly. “Since the attackers could not break the security, they targeted the German Bakery.

“We have increased our police force and also purchased sophisticated weapons to deal with such attacks. We are taking all the necessary security measures based on intelligence reports.”

Seventeen people were killed and others injured in the bomb attack in Pune on Feb. 13.

Following the attack, the Pune police asked the Chabad House to update its security system at a cost of $20,000.

The famous Osho Ashram, frequented by foreigners, is also located in the vicinity of the blast site. US terror suspect David Headley is believed to have stayed at the Ashram during his visit to the city.

“It’s most probably a terror attack. We are sending a forensic team of CBI and personnel of National Investigative Agency (NIA)”, Union Home Secretary Gopal Krishna Pillai said in New Delhi.

Official sources said an Improvised Explosive Device was used to trigger the blast….

Sunni will go after Shi’ite and vice versa, the Iranians will press forward to create a Shi’ite client state, the non-Muslims will be victimized more than ever — Hugh Fitzgerald in particular has been saying for years that this would happen, and every days the news shows anew that he was right all along.

Deobandi headbangers call for fatwa against French goods

LUCKNOW: The Islamic seminary of Dar-ul-Uloom Deoband is contemplating a fatwa against buying goods made in France to protest the anti-burqa comments of French president Nicolas Sarkozy. 

Mufti Maulana Arshad Faruqui of Dar-ul-Ufba, the fatwa department of the seminary, said it would also call for a boycott of Sarkozy. “If necessary, an edict may be issued to all followers ordering them to shun French merchandise,” Maulana Faruqui said.
