Attackers set fire to the Protestant Metro Tabernacle Church in Kuala Lumpur early today, destroying the first floor, in the midst of growing controversy over the use of the word “Allah” by Malaysian Christians.

Eight roasted in suicide bomb blast

A suicide bomber wearing an explosives-filled vest Thursday killed eight people and wounded 24 others while targeting a private security convoy in an eastern Afghan town, an official said.

“This was a suicide attack. So far we know that eight people are dead, but that figure could change,” said Rohullah Samon, a spokesman for the governor of Paktia province.

The attack happened in Gardez, the provincial capital, at 4:30pm local time, outside a branch of the Kabul Bank when the suicide bomber approached on foot.

“The head of a security company… was moving with his convoy when he was attacked by a suicide bomber wearing a suicide vest,” Mr Samon said. ABC has more

Busted in Kaboom

A problem fixes itself in downtown Kaboom, Afghanistan:

Fourteen suspected terrorists died Tuesday night when the bus they rigged with explosives blew up prematurely, police said.

The explosion occurred as the suspects were riding the bus in the province of Kunduz, said police chief Abdul Raziq Yaqobi.

And in other terrorist news:

U.S. border security officials learned of intelligence about the alleged extremist links of the suspect in the Christmas Day airline bombing attempt as he was en route to Detroit and had decided to question him when he landed, officials said in new disclosures today.

There’s a small flaw in that plan.

Pledge of Allegiance to Islam? Start Shutting Down the Mosques

On Dar al Hijrah’s web site: All mosque members are required to “pronounce and sign a Pledge of Allegiance to Islam and Dar Al Hijrah Islamic Center Constitution as prepared by the Board.” A pledge of allegiance to Islam.

Why aren’t these fortresses shut down? Why are we allowing these enemy military installations to operate freely on American soil as they plot our demise? For years I advocated for monitoring the mosques but we have now gone way beyond that.

Dar al Hijrah is the mosque/fortress that wet nursed respected imam Al Awalki – the spiritual leader of the Fort Hood jihadi and the testicular bomber.

And this pledge of allegiance is consistent with Islamic teaching. You cannot serve anyone or anything above allah. The Constitution and the Koran are incompatible. They will tell you differently – taqiya (deception to advance Islam) – but ask former Muslims who have read the Koran in arabic (not the whitewashed versions used to con the infidel).

Andrew Cline has an article in The American Spectator addressing the issue of what drives the Muslim world to terrorism. After quoting Obama–who claims that terrorism is a social issue driven by poverty, Cline provides the contrary evidence, but  fails to even mention Islam.  Just a few days ago, Shrillary Clitman offered up the same nonsense, telling us that throwing billions of dollars down the Mohammedan gurgler it is the answer to Mohammedan terror.

Last week, President Obama said of the Christmas bomber, “We know that he traveled to Yemen, a country grappling with crushing poverty and deadly insurgencies.”

Yemen’s crushing poverty? Abdul Mutallab isn’t even Yemeni; he is Nigerian, and an affluent one, at that. Apparently, the president is suggesting that poor, unsuspecting Abdul Mutallab wound up in Yemen and was radicalized by Muslims there who were themselves radicalized by Yemen’s “crushing poverty.” Why mention it if that is not the general theory he is putting forth?

Yet there is a little problem with that theory.
According to the World Bank, Zimbabwe is 11 times poorer than Yemen. Yet no Zimbabwean national has been caught trying to blow up U.S. airliners. There’s a simple reason for that. Less than 1 percent of the population of Zimbabwe is Muslim.

Merry Christmas Wishing a very Merry Christmas to all the persecuted Copts in Egypt and the other Christians who celebrate the Feast on this day.

Newsmax has a good summary of what’s happening to ‘Palestinian’ Christians. It’s not pretty, but of course since most people realize (finally) that the Jews cannot be blamed, no one is interested in doing anything about it anymore.

Christians have left for a litany of reasons, including better economic opportunities abroad. Those who remain traditionally blame Israeli policies for Christian emigration. Israel controls the borders, often preventing Palestinians from working or visiting family members in other parts of the territories and in Jerusalem. The Gaza border has been impassable for three years since rocket fire against Israel picked up and Hamas kidnapped an Israeli soldier.

The Vatican blames the Jooos for declining numbers of Christians

The Vatican has issued a document that blames the Israeli-‘Palestinian’ conflict and the ‘occupation of lands’ for driving Christians out of the Middle East.

The document is a guide for discussions for an Oct. 10-24 meeting of Mideast bishops convened by Pope Benedict XVI to discuss the plight of the Christian minority in the overwhelmingly Muslim region. The exodus of Christians from the region and religious discrimination faced by those who remain are main issues on the table.

Abdulmutallab’s father, Alhaji Umaru Mutallab, a wealthy former bank CEO and Nigerian minister, is not paying for his son’s defense.  Instead, U.S. taxpayers are getting soaked with the cost of this wealthy kid’s legal defense.  Some readers and e-mailers argued that his father turned him in to the U.S. Embassy and wants nothing to do with him, so that’s the reason he won’t pay for his son’s lawyer and American taxpayers are footing the bill.

But that’s not the case.  In fact, while he denounced his son’s terrorist attack, Pops Mutallab is making the trip to Detroit, this week, for his son’s Friday detention hearing.  He’s doing this to show his support for his son.  Well, how about showing support for his attempted victims and U.S. taxpayers, by paying for his son’s lawyer, instead of forcing Americans to pay for his dirty trickster lawyer?

Americans should not be paying for the legal defense of the Islamic Richie Rich, the “poor little rich kid,” whose family can afford all the accoutrements of the good life and an international trip to D-Mecca a/k/a Detroit.

She allegedly performed in a black leotard for over an hour. No word on how much she made (though one source says $2 million) at the New Years Eve gig at Nikki Beach but last year Mariah Carey scored $1 million at the same venue.  Hannibal was arrested in Geneva earlier this year for beating two hotel servants with a hanger and a belt.
