They’re only “suspected”, you see. One can’t be too careful. Lets not rush to conclusions, shall we?

PATTANI, Thailand – Suspected Muslim insurgents detonated roadside bombs that killed eight people, including one civilian, in two separate attacks in Thailand’s restive south, police said Friday.

A bomb explosion in Yala province on Friday killed three soldiers in a pickup truck who were sent to fix a water pipe in a village in Yaha district, said police Col. Sawas Tiawirat.

On Thursday evening, suspected insurgents detonated a bomb and then shot at security forces on a patrol in Narathiwat province, killing a soldier, two security rangers, a village security guard and a village official, said police Capt. Pairat Kiatcharoensiri.

The suspects stole four rifles before fleeing in the Rue So district of Narathiwat, he said.

More than 4,000 people have been killed in Thailand’s three southernmost provinces since an Islamist insurgency erupted in 2004.

Swiss firm gets Libyan funds seized

One of the firms forced to close its business in Libya as part of Tripoli’s economic measures against Switzerland, is suing Libya in the Geneva courts.

An exclusive report in the Geneva-based Le Temps newspaper on Wednesday says the small high tech firm, which wants to remain anonymous, has had SFr11.6 million ($10.7 million) of Libyan assets frozen by the courts pending a judgement.

The company, which was given 45 days to wind up its business and leave the country, is suing the Libyan government for about SFr7 million for unpaid bills and breach of contract, the newspaper says.

‘The men will be deported to China after serving their sentences’, the paper said.

Funny that. We in the West resettle them in Bermuda or in Palau. How come the Arabs are not so tender with their Muslim brothers?

Da Vinci sent this outrageous update to the attempted Islamic honor killing of Muslim actress of the Harry Potter film.How much more in the mainstream can you get? Despite who she is, the celebrity of the victim, still the dhimmedia shills, aids, abets, and covers for islamic misogyny.  In addition to the Daily Mail’s inhumanity in speaking of the religious motivation of this gender apartheid, more galling and proof of this Islamic practice is the  family’s concern, not with their Afshan, but with “what the Muslim community will think.” This is their only worry and obsession:

The Muslim actress who plays ‘Padma’ in the Harry Potter films has fled her home in Manchester, England after her father and brother tried to kill her. The father and brother have since been charged with attempted murder (with the brother also being charged with physically assaulting his sister);  She’s going to need some hiding because both the father and brother have now been released on bail. In the meantime, the young girl, Afshan Azad, 22, has fled to London to stay with friends.

The German parliament was scheduled to meet Thursday night to vote on resolutions introduced by all of its major parties slamming Israel for intercepting the flotilla of fools trying to run Israel’s legal ‘blockade’ of Gaza.

In what  appears to be precedent-setting German parliamentary action against Israel, the major parties – ranging from the Christian Democratic Union/Christian Social Union and its governing coalition partner the Free Democrats, to the Social Democrats and the Green Party – drafted a resolution urging Israel to agree to an international inquiry and end its blockade of Gaza.

The local Jewish community is furious.
