The leader of Scotland‘s Roman Catholic church waded into the furious international row today, launching a caustic attack on US politicians who have criticised the early release of the Lockerbie bomber.
Cardinal Keith O’Brien contrasted the “merciful” decision of the Scottish government to release Abdelbaset al-Megrahi on compassionate grounds with the culture of “vengeance and retribution” which permeated the US justice system. Writing in the Scotland on Sunday newspaper, he also said Scottish ministers were right to decline a US request to give evidence to senators investigating Megrahi’s release. “We shouldn’t be crawling out to America, or having them come here and questioning us on our own territory,” he said.

Jesse Jackson, ICNA Endorse Letter on Anti-Islam
The Rev. Jesse Jackson, one of the nation`s leading civil rights activists, and the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) have endorsed an open letter by a coalition of Muslim, Sikh, Asian-American, and other civil liberties groups* sent toFBI Director Robert Mueller seeking an explanation of why a leader of an anti-Islam hate group was recently invited to train state and federal law enforcement officers.
Robert Spencer, co-founder of the hate group Stop the Islamization of America (SIOA), claimed in a blog post that he “gave two two-hour seminars on the belief-system of Islamic jihadists to the Tidewater Joint Terrorism Task Force.” Those attending the training reportedly included FBI agents.

In its letter to Mueller, the coalition outlined Spencer`s bigoted views on Islam and Muslims, including referring to Islam`s Prophet Muhammad as a “con man.”
The letter cited the independent national media watch group Fairness & Accuracy in Reporting (FAIR), which identified Spencer as one of “Islamophobia`s Dirty Dozen” who systematically “spread fear, bigotry, and misinformation.”
In its report, FAIR said, “By selectively ignoring inconvenient Islamic texts and commentaries, Spencer concludes that Islam is innately extremist and violent.”

The coalition`s letter also noted that Spencer joined with hate-blogger Pamela Geller to found a new organization named Stop the Islamization of America (SIOA):

“SIOA has come to prominence through shrill opposition to the building of American mosques, anti-Islam bus and taxi advertising campaigns, support for European far-right groups and Islamophobes such as the English Defence League and Geert Wilders, and bigoted anti-Islam statements by its co-leader, Pamela Geller.
“Geller has claimed that `Hitler and the Nazis were inspired by Islam` and offered rhetorical support to both accused Serbian war criminal Radovan Karadzic and slain Apartheid-era leader Eugene Terre`blanche.”
SIOA is an outgrowth of a similar group in Europe that seeks to block the construction of mosques. That group, Stop the Islamization of Europe, “considers Islamophobia to be the height of common sense.”

Fox Opens Its Airwaves to Anti-Muslim Activist Geller
The United States Patent and Trademark Office refused to grant SIOA a trademark because: “The applied-for mark refers to Muslims in a disparaging manner because by definition it implies that conversion or conformity to Islam is something that needs to be stopped or caused to cease.”
Spencer also co-authored, with Geller, the recently-published book, “The Post-American Presidency: The Obama Administration`s War on America,” which sounds a “wake-up call for Americans to stop the Obama administration from limiting our hard-won freedoms, silencing our democratic voices, and irreparably harming America for generations to come.”
The conclusion of the coalition`s letter to Director Mueller states:
“Mr. Spencer is entitled to his radical views and associations. We strongly believe that such plainly bigoted views, and those who hold them, should be relegated to the fringe of our nation`s discourse, not given a veneer of legitimacy by being invited to train the institutions and individuals charged with protecting our nation from violent extremists.
“We hope to distribute your response to our respective constituencies in order to alleviate grassroots concerns regarding individuals and groups with clear anti-Muslim motivations being used as trainers for our nation`s law enforcement.”
Besides being an open advocate for Sharia and restrictions on the freedom of speech in his book What’s Right with Islam, Rauf has refused to denounce Hamas. He has lied about his commitment to religious dialogue. He has lied about whether the Islamic center planned for the Ground Zero site will contain a mosque or not. And he has lied about whether or not the project is getting foreign funding. He is involved with a group that helped fund the jihad flotilla against Israel.

For simple proof that Muslims have no intention of integrating into Australian society or accepting Australian values, you need only listen to the words they use about their status here. We are referred to as the “host” country, they  are the “what?”
Not all Muslims are unemployed … but those with jobs are mostly employed as career Muslims, Their goal is not to benefit the society but to feed off it from within, attacking it, working tirelessly to immobilise it.
When I think of hosts, the first thing that comes to mind is a relationship of host and guest. Are Muslims guests in our country? Although our foolish and naive Government invited some of them here, a guest should be of mutual benefit to both parties and leave at the appropriate time. Even if a guest outstays their welcome, they eventually leave and the most damage that’s done might be a few empty beer cans strewn around the place. A guest does not come into a welcoming house and murder the host, rape his/her daughters, bash their sons, completely trash the place, never leave and then go down the Land Registry to change the title deeds into their own name. No, this cannot be the form of host relationship we have.

Some will have read off the sick, shocking shooting dead of 2 innocent Christians in Pakistan on 19/7/2010 (summary below). A Pakistani Christian describes life in Pakistan and the sheer distress and immense difficulty in obtaining visas to reach the west and safety for family and friends.  In Faisalabad  Christians have fled their homes as indeed they have before and are in hiding as the MUSLIM MOB moves through their largely Christian area. For Christians there is constant abuse and a precarious existence as any second they can be attacked, raped, stoned, beaten, bombed including when at prayer in their church, or falsely charged with ‘blasphemy’ or any other crime.

(al Reuters) – The United States hopes its rapid, generous response to Pakistan’s epic floods will help overcome the negative image many Pakistanis have of the United States, the Obama administration’s aid chief said on Friday.

Washington has sent rescue helicopters, delivered medicines and more than half a million halal meals and water as Pakistan’s fragile government struggles with the worst floods in 80 years, which have killed more than 1,600 people.
“As the Pakistani people see the tremendous efforts that America is making to provide them with support … they will appreciate the commitment that we have there (in Pakistan),” Rajiv Shah, administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development, told Reuters in an interview.

Asked whether he thought the U.S. response to the floods could change that negative image, Shah replied: “I hope so, of course.”
