UK: 'Pretty young woman knifed to death after celebration equivalent to Christmas'

This short story’s got it all: a husband, a pretty young woman, ‘Asian’,  Christmas, the mental health act and  death in a car. Unfortunately  it doesn’t mention ‘honor killing’- but that wouldn’t be politically correct.

A husband was remanded in custody under the Mental Health Act today after a pretty young woman was knifed to death in a car in what was believed to be a violent family argument.

Police confirmed that the victim and the two men arrested were all Asian and known to each other.

Neighbours identified them as the Baig family and said that they had been celebrating Eid, the Muslim equivalent of Christmas, last night when the killing happened.

The alarm was raised when ambulance controllers and police received a 999 call from the family home in, Crawley, West Sussex.

Two paramedic rapid response cars and an ambulance were sent to the scene but there was nothing the medics could do to save the woman who had been stabbed to death. (Daily Mail has more)

Have a Merry Muslim Christmas!

Sharpen your knifes, folks: its Muslim Christmas!

Pakistani customers get their knives sharpened for the upcoming Eid al-Adha festival in Rawalpindi, Pakistan on Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010. Muslims worldwide will celebrate Eid al-Adha, or the Feast of the Sacrifice on Nov. 17, by sacrificial killing of sheep, goats, cows or camels. The slaughter commemorates the biblical false Koran story of Abraham, who was on the verge of sacrificing his son ISHMAEL to obey God’s command when God interceded by substituting a ram in the child’s place.

According to the bible it was Isaac, as with everything in his warped and twisted “religion”, Muhammad got it wrong…..

  1. How is it the equivalent of Christmas?
John 1:29 “The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.”
Genesis 14:18; Psalm 110:4; Hebrews Chapter 7, especially 7:21; but also Hebrews 5:5-10; Hebrews 6:20.
The stupid honor killing is not a religious act.

  2. They were ‘Asians’ celebrating Eid. Funny, I thought Muslims celebrated Eid.

The husband was remanded in custody under the Mental Health Act. Is he going to plead temporary insanity? That he thought he was killing a cow for Eid, as in the photograph? Will he be tried under Sharia law, English style, by a Muslim judge who supports honour killings?

Well, the victim was only his wife, a lowly woman of no value. I doubt he will grieve.

  3. Of course he won’t grieve, he will be joyous for a job well done and have the support of the whole clan.
If (IF, big if) he goes to prison, the clan will immediately sue for racism. “Killing your wife is bad” – just another proof that we kufars are insane.

  4. When I was dropping off an order on 15th November, my customer said that they would be celebrating xmas on 16th. That was a surprise to me (although I have Orthodox friends who keep it in January) until I looked around the room and saw that they were Muslims. Then she added, “Eid”. I was amazed that they link xmas with eid. The ‘god’ of Muslims is not the God of Christians.

BARMY PC do-gooders have put up their town’s Christmas lights along with displays for Muslim and Hindu festivals – even though those celebrations have already finished.

Councillors were so anxious not to offend other faiths that they decided to share the Christian display with lights to mark the other celebrations.

But residents have slammed the move because although the lights were switched on last night, the Muslim festival of Eid ends today and Sikhs and Hindus celebrated Diwali two weeks ago.

One angry father told the Daily Star: “It’s like Christmas is being hijacked. It’s mad. Why do we have these lights up for Eid and Diwali when they’ve finished?

“We wouldn’t go around putting Santas up on any of these festivals.”

But council bosses in Rochdale say they want to keep the lights to “represent the community”.

Another resident said: “The lights look fantastic … but I don’t see why they have to have all these other festivals in them.”

Philip Davies, Tory MP for Shipley, West Yorks, said: “I’ve no idea why local authorities up and down the country are so ashamed of celebrating Christmas.

“All this kind of pussyfooting around is done in the name of not offending other people from other faiths. But it tends to be done by white middle-class people with some kind of bizarre guilt complex.”

Former Blue star Simon Webbe, 31, flicked the switch last night to turn on the lights, which cost £89,500.

A spokesman for Rochdale Council said: “We have a varied and diverse display, representing our community.”

  5. Respected Sir,

For your kind information, there are very few ppl who think like you do, in today’s world, we enjoy each and every festival, no matter which religion I belong to All ppl celeberate all festivals. You are putting voices of few ppl who are incapable of accepting this fact, they need to open up, that’s all…………….. May god bless all…….. 🙂

  6. anomynous, what you appear to have embraced is consistent with New Age beliefs … what will become of people who are “incapable of accepting this fact”, as you put it?

  7. Festival of throat-cutting? And we need to open up – or else?

If we must “celeberate all festivals” – Why must we?

Must we also ‘celeberate ‘ cannibalism, pedophilia, slavery, wife beating, polygamy, FGM, child marriage….?

  8. * If we must “celeberate all festivals”? Why must we?

I suspect that Christmas / Easter / Passover / Hannukah / Yom Kippur
(etc) won’t be included in this ‘tolerant” spirit of celebration and enjoyment, as they will be “exclusive”, “divisive” and lead to hurt feelings – hence “Winterval” or “Festivus” replaces Christmas – red & green decorations are banned, and all the rest…

  9. sheikyermami, you are taking my point in the wrong direction, i am not saying that it is good to cut any1’s throat, but mostly ppl eat animals, this is not my point, my point is it is their belief, we can’t just ignore or finish it, there are ways to deal with it, like to be with them , try to make them see, what they are doing wrong, if we negelect them they will never listen it will bring an unbearable situation to live, so this is my mean to open up,if you do open up, world will be better place to live, that’s all…… 🙂

  10. & I do celebrate all festivals as I like person no matter what religion he/she belongs. I like every1’s believe , but if you don’t like it, don’t do it, i am not saying you to do it, but at least don’t try to hurt their feelings who are actually trying to go & make this world a better harmonic place to live…..

  11. * make this world a better harmonic place to live

But how are (you?) making this world a better harmonic place to live?

Do you have any understanding of New Age beliefs, or are you simply following them with no awareness of where they are leading?

  12. Sir,

I just want their shall be perfect harmonic place for entire animal kingdom, i am not backed by any idea, and simply speaking, i know how to deal with a person with different ideas, so don’t worry, no 1 is leading me anywhere……. 🙂

  13. by the way , only 1 advice, don’t try to neglect any1, we are human beings, we all are the same, just be happy and try to solve problem with clam mind, not with envy or any kind of hatred.

  14. Perhaps you could share your thoughts with allah, and let us know its response, if its followers don’t chop your head off first.

  15. It’s wierd how some people sit late at night in front of their pc screens with nothing to do but to try to undermine other religions, I think getting an Internet connection must be similar to getting a car license, where not every uncapable donkey can simply go to vodafone, hand in some credentials and voila! I have an Internet connection, imagine if every mule in the streets owned a car, couldnt imagine the disaster, you were not there when Abraham slaughtered the sheep, you were not there when Adam was created, you were not there when Jesus was born, so stop sitting behind you computer screen and creating false statements, why not talk about the things we have in common, Americans slaughter turkeys on thanksgiving, Jews slaughter chickens during some festival they have, we say salam, they say shalom, we say ahad, thnain thalath, they say akhad shnain shalosh, how cool, but Satan has made it clear to mankind, he said he shall spread evil and hatred among mankind, and he has his followers, hope you could ensure if you are on the right side, and one more thing, Muhammad didn’t write the Kuran, god did, and yes, it is the same god almighty that Christians and Jews believe in, we are all cousins, and we will not allow intruders to come between us, peace be upon Jesus, Muhammad, Abraham, Moses and all prophets sent by god.

    1. “why not talk about the things we have in common”–

Lets see what we have in common, Ham-Ed:

We breathe oxygen, we are mammals, we are a carbon based life form.

We manage to feed ourselves, you manage to exist as parasites.

      I think that’s where the similarities end….
