How the G-Lard-KRudd regime perverted our language:
We should support honesty in language:
Immigration Minister Scott Morrison has instructed departmental and detention centre staff to publicly refer to asylum seekers as ‘’illegal’’ arrivals and as ‘’detainees’’, rather than clients.
The directive has been criticised as a ‘’profound’’ shift by a leading asylum seeker agency, which says the new terms are designed to dehumanise people.
Calling people “clients” is just as dehumanising. Its worse. Its deceptive.
Italy is demanding that the EU revise its rules on migrants, thereby lifting some of the burden from countries that serve as ports-of-entry for the boat people — which, in most cases, means Italy. (GoV)
The plight of Christians in Syria
The most disturbing aspect of this report concerns the alliance of Christians with Hezbollah, which offers protection in the face of their common enemy: Sunni Islam.–Between the Fronts (GoV)
Infidels, Harbis and Dhimmies: Pay Attention!
Back in 2007, when confronted with the phrase “moderate Islam”, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan famously responded: “These descriptions are very ugly, it is offensive and an insult to our religion. There is no moderate or immoderate Islam. Islam is Islam and that’s it.”
A roomful of young “Norwegians” seemed to be in complete agreement with Mr. Erdogan. At a “peace conference” in Norway earlier this month, they all but unanimously supported a strict interpretation of the Shariah, including the prescribed punishments for theft, adultery, homosexuality, etc.
The lone dissenter in the front row — a kafir, perhaps? — refused to raise his hand when the rest of the audience did. It made me wonder if he is a marked man now. Was he forced to move out of Grønland or Groruddalen to some more hospitable location? Tasmania, maybe?
