I remember Mark Durie saying just recently that one Bishop (Anglican), in one city in Australia, had *forty* ex-Muslim catechumens under instruction – most of them of Iranian background – whom he was preparing to baptise. And the thing to remember is that the Anglicans aren’t, in Australia, red-hot evangelisers, even though the Melbourne and Sydney Anglicans are probably more active about it than their brethren in other regions; these apostates may well have *sought out* the Church, rather than the other way round. I wonder what’s happening with the more traditional (ie less woolly) Catholics, who do exist. And then there are the really active evangelisers, the Churches of Christ, Assemblies of God, Salvation Army, and so on…how many are *they* scooping in?
Now where’s the TV show tracking *that*?? Except that perhaps they don’t want to come to the attention of the sharia assassins…
