Muslim Brothers Mehdi Hasan & Tariq Ramadan Pretend Islam is Not Islam

Has political Islam failed?

Islamic intellectual Muselbrother Tariq Ramadan discusses Islamism gobbledegook and the rise and fall of the Muslim Brotherhood. (The grandson of Hassan al Banna even denies that he is the Top Dog of the MuBro’s in Europe.LOL!)

“The success of integration is to stop talking about integration”— Tariq Ramadan. (“We are here, we are here to stay…”   Why he should be taken seriously, or treated with respect, at this point, this sly creature who wears on his sleeve his slyness, is beyond me.)

Update: there is a very well researched article from the Point de Bascule, which we are publishing in part below the fold.

Has the Arab Spring turned into an Islamist winter?

Mehdi Hasan challenges Islamic intellectual  softballs MuBro headbanger Tariq Ramadan on the principles and practice of political Islam. (As if there was another one!)

French Prisons a Recruiting Ground For Jihadists

The population of French prisons is estimated to be up to 70 percent Muslim. Moderate preachers employed by the state are lacking, so a void is filled by untrained imams who preach a Salafist or hardline form of Islam and hatred of the West.

Radical Islamist Mohamed Merah, who killed seven people in and around Toulouse in 2012, is thought to have sharpened some of his ideas during a stint in jail. Muselmommas are trying to get help from the state…..

Excerpts from the excellent Point de Bascule

When Mohammedans talk about «transforming reality», they state their intention to implement sharia principles.

In order to determine the specifics of Tariq Ramadan’s “more just and ethical world”, it is important to know that Youssef Qaradawi, the Muslim Brotherhood spiritual guide, is his mentor. In his book Radical Reform, Ramadan describes Qaradawi as a “prominent scholar” who has outlined the attitudes and the kind of behaviour that Muslims living in the West should adopt.

In recent years, Qaradawi’s “principles of ethics” have led him to advocate for the conquest of the West by Muslims, to condone female genital mutilations, to claim that Hitler was sent by Allah to punish the Jews (video), to endorse suicide bombings, to promote the killing of Muslims who leave Islam (apostates), etc.

This is what Tariq Ramadan, MAC and the Muslim Brotherhood’s “more just and ethical world” looks like.

Recently, Qaradawi even stated that, without the punishment against apostasy, “Islam wouldn’t exist today”.

An overview of the Muslim Association of Canada and  other Islamist organizations

MAC implements the Muslim Brotherhood program in Canada.

On its own website, it states that its “modern roots can be traced to the Islamic revival of the early twentieth century, culminating in the movement of the Muslim Brotherhood … MAC adopts and strives to implement Islam … as understood in its contemporary context by the late Imam, Hassan Albanna (1906-1949), the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood.”

In his 50-point manifesto, Hassan al-Banna urges his supporters to abolish political parties and replace them by a single party system. He favours the modification of laws so that they conform to sharia and calls for the multiplication of associations dedicated to promoting the spirit of jihad amongst the youth.

In his essay On Jihad, al-Banna explains that “it’s an obligation for us (Muslims) to fight against them (the infidels) after inviting them (to join Islam), even if they do not fight against us”.

In another text (To what Do We Invite Humanity?), Hassan al-Banna refers to Adolf Hitler as a role model for Muslims looking for “success and fortune”.

According to GMBDR, a website monitoring the Muslim Brotherhood around the world, MAC and Hamas (Charter – Article 2) are among the rare sections of the network openly acknowledging their links with the Brotherhood.

MAC has even openly defended Hamas in a press release more than a year after the Canadian government added the organization to its terror list on November 27, 2002.

From 2001 to 2010, MAC transferred $296,514 to IRFAN-Canada, Hamas’ fund collector in the country. In April 2011, the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) revoked IRFAN’s status after having concluded that, for the period 2005-2009 alone, it transferred $14.6 million to the terrorist organization Hamas (GMBDR – Toronto Star).

Hamas’ leaders frequently advocate for an Islamic conquest of the West (2008 – 2011 – 2012) and the terrorist organization has vowed to wage jihad against Israel until it is wiped off the map (Charter – Article 13).

In spite of its charitable status that forbids involvement in politics, MAC radicalizes the Muslim community by regularly inviting in Canada foreign Islamist leaders who promote the implementation of sharia in the country.

Tariq Ramadan is one of these speakers invited by MAC. In a 2004 interview granted to an Egyptian magazine, Tariq Ramadan enjoined Islamist leaders operating in Canada to use the flexibility of the Canadian legal framework to their advantage and introduce sharia in the country. Ramadan warned that “for the time being”, it would be preferable not to openly mention the term sharia in Canada while doing so. “The term shariah in itself is laden with negative connotations in the Western mind. There is no need to stress that”, he concluded.

In 2011 in Dallas, Tariq Ramadan enjoined his supporters to “coloniz(e) the United States of America … with our understanding of Islam, our principles.” Brian Lilley recently presented this excerpt during a SUN TV show dedicated to Justin Trudeau’s participation at the RIS 2012 Islamist convention.

In an internal memorandum that was seized by police and produced for evidentiary purposes in the 2007-2008 Holy Land Foundation trials, the Muslim Brotherhood clearly sums up its goal in North America:

Point 4.4 The Ikhwan (Muslim Brotherhood) must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and “sabotaging” its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God’s religion is made victorious over all other religions… It is a Muslim’s destiny to perform Jihad and work wherever he is and wherever he lands until the final hour comes.

There is more.

  1. DEBATE DEBATE DEBATE- There is no point in debating islam! The whole ethos of islam is to subjugate the whole world under shariah law. Islam has been and still is in a perpetual state of war, and this will be the norm for eternity. All people have the innate ability when born to be civilised, but islam can never be civilised as it is totally and absolutely incompatible with civilised Western norms. The koran is nothing more than a War Manual!!!

  2. THANKS for crossing out the “intellectual” in Tariq Ramadan. His so-called “intellect” is nothing more that a Shithouse-Rat-cunning for profiteering, proselytising, lying and his own survival. Should the Jews, the Christians, the Buddhists really become the most powerful people in the world, and be hard rulers, Ramadan will become Rabbi/Bishop/Monk before you can say: “Mohamed was a pedophile and Islam is crap”.

  3. Thanks, Rita.

Neither is he a “philosopher”, he is a savage, a primitive, despite his French accent and his phoney bought-and-paid-for professorship.

If you can get yourself to watch that video with brother Tariq, you can see Anas Altikriti, a top British lobbyist for the Muslim Brotherhood whose father heads Iraq’s Muslim Brotherhood party. Al Tikriti recently met with the president and Vice President Joe Biden as part of a delegation discussing problems in Iraq. – See more at:

Tariq, appears in the “Islam” issue of The New York Times Book Review, where he identifies himself as at present a “professor at Oxford.” He is no such thing. He has been a temporary lecturer at St. Antony’s College, in the Middle Eastern wing (the other wing is Russian and East European Studies), which ever since its inception was the fiefdom of the late Albert Hourani, described by J. B. Kelly as “a plump abbot dispensing his favors,” who allowed the place to be a diploma mill for all kinds of doubtful people. The D. Phil. does not require courses, but only a thesis, and every Rashid, Hamid, and Yusuf could get a D. Phil. at St. Antony’s, as long as Hourani was ruling the roost. Now he’s gone, and possibly things are changing there. But not completely, for Tariq Ramadan was given his temporary post.

Now the Arabs have got together, and the most “respectable” of them — the government of Oman — has simply given a large sum of money, not only for a chair, but with a specific non-negotiable candidate, the Arab Muslim candidate, to fill it, at the otherwise respectable University of Leiden.

That’s right, the same University of Leiden that has a distinguished history in Islamic studies, where Joseph Schacht, having left Germany in disgust in 1933 (Schacht was not Jewish), ended up for a while, and where C. Snouck Hurgronje has a center named after him, is giving Tariq Ramadan a grand title — “professor,” I presume, or possibly “director” of some “institute” created just for him by fellow Arab Muslims. And that will be convenient. That will allow him to lecture, and to write articles, billed as “Tariq Ramadan, professor at the University of Leiden.”

But don’t believe a word of it. His chair is entirely bought and paid for. It’s to make his propaganda, his presentation, more impressive, more effective, more convincing.

  4. Hmmm. There was a time when “professor at Oxford” meant something in the world of academia.

But everyone in the know, know that of the two Oxbridge schools, Oxford is the easiest to buy yourself into, providing you have the means to.
