![Garden gnome Bill Oddie has sparked controversy during a BBC debate on Immigration. Hairy birdwatcher Mr Oddie asserted that working British families are having too many children, and to prevent them doing so the Government should introduce a Chinese Communist quota of a single child per family. If Mr Oddie had scrutinised the birth patterns of human beings instead of birds in Britain, he’d have recognised that the birth rate of British children is woefully low and clearly not the reason behind Britain’s burgeoning overpopulation. On average white British couples have less than two children per couple, a rate which will not even maintain current numbers, never mind an increase our population. This would be welcome news, and evidence that Britons – and European people as a whole – are addressing the problem of global overpopulation seriously. The problem, of course, comes when other groups don’t do the same. On average Muslim families in Britain breed 3.8 children, with that group alone increasing the population in Britain by at least 7 per cent, and reproducing at a rate which will reduce British people to an ethnic minority in our own country before 2050. The fact that the BBC felt Bill Oddie should be consulted on such a serious matter, instead of a BNP spokesman, highlights just how completely out of touch with public opinion the BBC and their leftist 'celebrities' are on this burning issue. Self-hating Oddie further exposed his terminal liberal sickness by exclaiming that ‘the British were a terrible race’ and that he is ‘often very ashamed to be British’. Speak for yourself Mr Oddie, perhaps you should migrate south for the winter and preach in Africa about unsustainable overpopulation. What do you think about Bill Oddie's self-hatred?
