He is only partly correct. The main problem is that British leaders are scared to death of islam and islamists. The government works furiously at appeasing the islamists in any way they can, because of their fear. They also become paralyzed at the thought of being called ‘racist’. And they work on disarming everyone of guns and knives because if a revolution happens and is successful, the politicians will be swing from hastily made gallows. The British government is, in short, cowardly, like many other EU leaders.
